Purpose of the job 
To lead the design, implementation, debugging, documentation, release and maintenance of software-based solutions, write code and enhance software/systems in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Department of Defence (DOD). To Facilitate DOD strategic management function in terms of development of prototypes. 
 
Key Responsibility Areas 
• Lead the design and development of new features for the software systems, and improvement of the existing ones; 
• Facilitation of DOD strategic direction process and requirements analysis; 
• Implementation, debugging, documentation and release of the software solutions;
• Provide maintenance and enhancement support of the existing systems;

Qualifications and Experience 
Minimum: 3 years National Higher Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in ICT (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) or related field. 
Experience: 6 - 7 years’ experience with full software development lifecycle (SLDC), including solution development, operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation. The experience must include Experience in solution analysis, and development for the development, implementation and maintenance/enhancements of systems within the corporate/public sector, including: Successfully developed and implemented applications, Software development team leadership competency, Software development deliverable effort planning, estimations and execution management, Developed efficient and effective IT solutions to diverse and complex business problems. Extensive experience with a wide variety of database management systems and maintenance, such as and MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgresSQL and MS Access. Purpose of the job 
To manage the annual budget process which includes preparing an annual budget that is aligned with the organization's strategy, this includes inculcating a business mentality in the organization that drives commercial value, conducting financial and non-financial data analyses that directly affect the organization's financial performance. Purpose of the job

Purpose of the job 
To develop, implement and manage the strategic sourcing function within SITA. 
 
Key Responsibility Areas 
• To develop and maintain strategies to achieve and maintain higher levels of customer satisfaction 
• To develop and maintain a process by which vendors are selected and managed in accordance with established guidelines and best practices 
• To develop and maintain strategies to achieve and maintain higher levels of customer satisfaction 
• Manage human resources in order to ensure the efficient operation of the business unit 
• Develop and implement improved strategic sourcing policies 
 
Qualifications and Experience 
Minimum: 3-4-year National Higher Diploma / National First Degree in a relevant discipline / NQF level 7 or a verified / certified alternative equivalent @ NQF Level 7 with the equivalent credits of a National Qualification + specialized or management certificate of competence. 
Registration with Procurement and Supply Chain Management professional body (e.g. MCIPS) and/or a Master’s degree will serve as an advantage. 
Experience: 8 - 9 years practical experience within the public sector and/or private sector with a minimum of 2 years on ICT related commodities and a minimum of 3 year within a managerial position.

Knowledge of: Procurement and supply chain best practices SCM/Procurement processes, procedures, and transaction systems Knowledge and market understanding of the ICT environment Basic Sourcing with emphasis on 
a quick turnaround for Lines of Business Strategy development and implementation Facilitation of supplier negotiations Financial management and cost analysis Supply Value Chain analysis Risk management Legal aspects for Procurement Stakeholder management.
