Purpose of the job 
To manage, coordinate the provision of Switch and WI-FI management and support services, to manage the performance of switch and WI-FI infrastructure and other related infrastructure, and to ensure management and coordination of all related incidents logged are resolved timeously.

Qualifications and Experience 
Minimum: 3-year Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT or related fields. Relevant ICT related certifications (ITIL, Product related, Quality, CCNP, HCNP etc) will be an added advantage. 
Experience: 6-7 years practical experience in switch and wi-fi and should include 3 Years’ experience as a Manager/ Specialist/Supervisor with management/supervision of business support/operations in a Corporate/Public Sector Organization. Management of performance of switches, wi-fi and other related infrastructure Management and resolution of incidents logged Experience in the provision of ICT solutions and services. 
 
Technical Competencies Description

  • Manage and execute vendor management strategies, process activities and supplier help desk for Procurement requirements in order to achieve transformation objectives

Qualifications and Experience 
Minimum: Minimum qualification requirement: 3-year Diploma / Degree in a relevant discipline / Commerce/ Engineering/ IT /Supply Chain /Logistics/Law with NQF Level 6. Registration with a Procurement and Supply Chain Management professional body (e.g.CIPS) will be an added advantage 
Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Procurement / Supply Chain Management of which 1 year must have been in a Vendor Management role (the experience period also includes internship) 1 years’ experience in Public Sector Procurement would be an added advantage, with exposure to the following: Public Finance Management Act and Procurement Policy Framework Act.
