POSITION STATUS : Fixed term Contract -24 months (Internal/External)

Purpose of the job
To provide solution consultation services in highly complex Network Architecture environment and develop network solution design and implementation plans to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality.
 
 
Key Responsibility Areas
 Develop network design as per client request, Responsible for handling queries of team members in relation to ERP (HR, OTL, and Iexpense)
 Implement network design in order to ensure technical performance, availability and stability;
 Provide inputs in the Converged Communication;
 Architecture governance with regards to the implementation of Converged Communication solutions;
 Develop, implement and manage the Design and Planning Organization to deliver on the business goals of SITA and ensure sustainability in service delivery from technology architecture and design perspective; and
 Adhere to performance management policy to ensure optimum performance output .to enhance service delivery.

 
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications: National Diploma or Bachelors Degree in IT related field (Computer Science, Information Technology/Engineering ). (Proposed Qualification – NQF Level 6).
Required Certification: CCNA
Experience: 3-5 years experience in the provision of ICT solutions, specifically within Technical Achitecture environment.
 
Technical Competencies Description
Knowledge of: ICT environment; Government IT; Politico-legal environment; SITA Business processes; Financial modelling; Strategy development.
Skills: Infrastructure Planning, Solution Design and Implementation; Quality Assurance and Project Management; Business knowledge; and IT Models and Frameworks.
 
Other Special Requirements
The incumbent will be required to consult and interact with relevant Government Officials, standards generating bodies, accreditation and certification bodies.
