POSITION STATUS : Fixed Term Contract – 5 years
Purpose of the job
To lead the formulation, communication and execution of SITA’s corporate and digital strategy that aligns to the objectives of the shareholder and government priorities. The incumbent will also lead the overall digital transformation, adoption of digital technologies architecture and digital customer experiences across SITA business. The incumbent will also oversee the overall corporate digital marketing, communication and enterprise program management.
Key Responsibility Areas
Oversee the formulation, communication, execution of the corporate and digital strategy and ensure alignment to the objectives of the shareholder and government priorities;
Drive digital transformation throughout SITA and government business;
Provide Executive oversight for ICT research and innovation;
Oversee the definition and implementation of digital marketing and communication strategies;
Oversee a digitally enabled enterprise programme management across the business;
Financial and business management; and
Human capital management.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Business or Information Technology or equivalent (NQF Level 7 and Credits);
Honours or Masters degree will be an added advantage.
Experience:
8+ years of professional experience which includes strategy development, digital transformation, innovation, digital marketing, business development, management consulting and stakeholder management, ideally with exposure in both public and private sector;
At least 3 + years working experience at an Executive Management level and managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
Technical Competencies Description

The incumbent will be required to engage widely with stakeholders and should have/be:
Ability to develop strategic business relationships and become a trusted thought partner to clients;
A strategic thinker with sound business development and management skills, good judgment and strong operational focus;
An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and professionalism;
A core strength in people management, team management and project management;
Experience in managing, monitoring and reviewing complex operational service delivery and a programme of ICT projects;
Well-developed inter-personal skills and experience in interacting with senior stakeholders; and
Ability to interact at the Board level.
