Minimum qualification and experience:  National Diploma or Higher Certificate in Law or Forensic Investigations or Accounting or Forensic Accounting or relevant (NQF 5/6). Two years investigative experience and/or experience in tracing and dealing with debtors. A valid driver’s license. 
 
Key performance areas (Include but not limited to): Tracing and physical identifying of addresses, persons, sites etc. Gathering evidence by interviewing witnesses, obtaining statements, and collecting relevant documentation to be used in Investigations. Tracing of applicants, debtors, as well as witnesses. Liaising with government departments and other law enforcement agencies involved in investigations. Assisting in questioning witnesses and defendants. Assisting in questioning in terms of section 5 (2) (c) of the SIU Act.
 
Technical skills: Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills, including in report-writing. Good administrative capability. Adequate computer literacy. Time management. Risk Management.
 
Knowledge and Behavioural (include but not limited to): Knowledge of the investigation environment and forensic investigation principles. Knowledge of Ethics. Knowledge of the applicable legislation (e.g. Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law of Evidence, etc). Team player. Accuracy. Inquisitive. Attention to detail. Deadline driven. Results oriented.
Willing to travel extensively and working long hours.

Main purpose: To deliver on projects through the provision of quality forensic legal services during national, provincial and strategic investigations into maladministration and corruption within State institutions, in support of the Multi-disciplinary approach (“MDA”) to all projects / assignments.
 
Minimum qualification and experience: B. Proc or equivalent (NQF 7). Admitted as an Attorney / Advocate. Five years’ Forensic Lawyer experience, of which two years is at supervisory/management level. Experience in Public Sector Investigations.
 
Key performance areas (Include but not limited to): Lead Forensic Legal Investigation Participation on National, Provincial and Strategic Projects. Conduct Forensic Legal Investigations on More Complex National, Provincial and Strategic Projects. Participation in Remedial Action Proceedings. Forensic Legal Area Compliance. Guidance and Mentorship to Forensic Lawyers.
 
Technical skills: Problem solving. Analytical. Communication. The ability to testify as an expert witness. Coaching and mentoring. Facilitation. Negotiation. Risk management.
 
Required knowledge and Behavioural (include but not limited to): Thorough knowledge of the laws, rules, and legal precedents pertaining to evidence, searching of premises, and the technical aspects of conducting interviews. Sound knowledge of the investigation environment and forensic legal principles. Sound knowledge of the applicable legislation (e.g. Criminal law, Criminal Procedure Law of Evidence, etc.). Sound knowledge of investigation techniques. Sound knowledge of public sector legal environment (PFMA, MFMA, Treasury Regulations and other relevant Treasury Directives). Knowledge of corporate governance and ethics. Knowledge of IT environment as well as financial systems and processes. Knowledge of project management principles.

To manage and provide coaching and mentoring to subordinates to transfer skills and specialised knowledge.
 
Minimum qualification and experience: LLB (NQF 8). Admitted as an attorney/advocate. Membership with a professional body would be advantageous. Six to eight years’ experience in Forensic Law, of which four years should have been at a management level. Experience in public sector investigations.

Main purpose: Reporting directly to the Head of the SIU (HOU) the incumbent will manage and co-ordinate the HoU’s Office to ensure its effective operation within the organisation. The incumbent will act as a liaison person to HoU’s stakeholders, draw up meeting agendas and monitor EXCO meeting and other HoU’s related deliverables.
 
Minimum qualification and experience: LLB or related NQF 8. LLM or MBA would be an added advantage. 5 – 8 years’ experience as a Chief of staff or providing executive support to Chief Executive / to the executive level. At least 4 years management experience. Experience in similar industry or legal environment will be an added advantage.
