​EXTERNAL ADVERT: NORTH WEST REGION 

 
MANAGER: CUSTOMER CARE (X1) 
Salary: R 849 702.00 - R 1 000 908.00 p.a. inclusive of benefits 
Location: North West Regional Office: (REF: SAS NW 41/2024) 
 
Requirement: Candidates should hold B. Degree / Diploma (NQF Level 6 or 7) in the following or related fields, Public Administration / Communication / Marketing / Business Administration coupled with 1-2 years management experience in the relevant field; knowledge of SASSA’s Constitutional mandate, relevant policies and legislation in Public Management; Knowledge of social security management and poverty alleviation matters. Computer and a valid driver’s license are essential. 
 
Duties: The incumbent will drive coordinate customer care operational functions, manage customer experience and stakeholder programmes, facilitate and coordinate outreach programmes, manage coordination of promotional events organized / planned by SASSA and other spheres of Government. Manage and coordinate the Customer relations strategy in the Region as well the implementation of the Service Delivery Improvement Plan. Manage customer enquiries and complaints in all forms (Calls, emails and walk-ins). Manage the implementation of the Internal Reconsideration Mechanism (IRM) and ICAS, QMS system and other systems as shall be development by the agency. Facilitate stakeholder Engagement and beneficiary education and awareness programmes within Customer care services and communications and marketing environment. Coordinate provincial activities on client relation improvement initiates. Provide advice on Social Assistant legislation, policies and procedures. Assist with the Management of the unit and manage subordinates in the section. Ensure adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PMFA, Chapter 6, and Part 3). 
 
 
 
 
 
GRANT ADMINISTRATOR (X1) 
Salary: R 216 417.00 – R 254 928.00 p.a. exclusive of benefits 
Location: Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District: Mamusa Local Office (Ref No: SAS NW 44/2024) 
 
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4). Computer literacy is essential. 
 
Added Advantage: A valid driver’s license, NQF level 6 / 7 qualification as recognised by SAQA and administrative / clerical experience. 
 
Duties: The incumbent will assist in the administration of Social Grants at Local Office Level; Effectively screen all grant applications; Capture applications on the system; Provide customer care; Process other grant documentation / perform other grants administration functions; Conduct quality control on grant applications and Ensure adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA, Chapter 6, Part 3).
