EXTERNAL ADVERT: NORTHERN CAPE
 
The South African Social Security Agency is inviting unemployed graduates, to apply for Internship Programme. 
The following 5 positions are available in Northern Cape 
 
Location: Regional Office – Kimberley 
Disability Management / Operations Management (1 post) - (Ref No.: SAS NC 25/09/01) 
 
Qualification: National Diploma or 3-year qualification / Degree recognised by SAQA in the field of Public Management or Public Administration or Social Sciences or Relevant Qualification. 
 
 
Human Capital Management (1 post) - (Ref No.: SAS NC 25/09/02) 
 
Qualification: National Diploma or 3-year qualification / Degree recognised by SAQA in the field of Human Resources Management or Public Management. 
 
 
Supply Chain Management (1 post) - (Ref No.: SAS NC 25/09/03) 
 
Qualification: National Diploma or 3-year qualification / Degree recognised by SAQA in the field of Finance with financial accounting or purchasing or logistics or economics as major subjects or Relevant Qualification (attach academic record). 
 
Preference for the above positions will be given to African Male, followed by Coloured Male, followed by White Male, followed by Indian Male/or Indian Female/or White Female respectively as at the time of appointment

Frances Baard District – Jan Kempdorp Local Office (1 post) - (Ref No.: SAS NC 25/09/04) 
Qualification: National Diploma or 3-year qualification / Degree recognised by SAQA in the field of Public Management or Public Administration or Social Services or Relevant Qualification. 
Namakwa District - Supply Chain Management (1 post) - (Ref No.: SAS NC 25/09/05) 
 
Qualification: National Diploma or 3-year qualification / Degree recognised by SAQA in the field of Finance with financial accounting or purchasing or logistics or economics as major subjects or Relevant Qualification (attach academic record). 
 
Preference for the above positions will be given to African Male, followed by Coloured Male, followed by White Male, followed by Indian Male/or Indian Female/or White Female respectively as at the time of appointment. 
 
 
All applicants must be between the ages of 18 – 35 years and be South African citizens.
 
Successful candidates will be appointed for 24 months internship contract. An all-inclusive monthly stipend of R7 860.50 will be payable.

GRANTS ADMINISTRATOR: GRANTS ADMINISTRATION X2 - SALARY LEVEL 05 
Salary: R 228 321– R 268 950p.a. exclusive of benefits 
Location: Namakwa District – Port Nolloth Local Office (Ref No.: SAS 25/09/06) 
Location: ZF Mgcawu District – Kakamas Local Office (Ref No.: SAS 25/09/07) 
 
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should have a Senior Certificate plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) as recognized by SAQA in the relevant field, Computer literacy is essential.
 
Added advantage: A Valid driver’s license and / or administrative / clerical experience will be an added advantage. 
 
Duties: The incumbent will assist in administration of Social Grants at Local Office level; Effectively screen all grant applications; Capture applications on the system; Provide customer care; Provide off-site grants application processes; Process other grant documentation / perform other grants administration functions; Conduct quality control on grant applications and Ensure adherence to Section 57 of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA, Chapter 6, Part 3). 
 
Preference for the above positions will be given to: 
Port Nolloth Local Office - African Male followed by Coloured Male followed by White Male followed by Indian Male respectively as at the time of appointment. 
Kakamas Local Office - African Female followed by African Male respectively as at the time of appointment.
