The following positions are available in KZN Region:



SENIOR LEGAL ADMIN OFFICER (MR 6) (OSD) 
Salary : R495 354.00 – R1 192 677.00 p.a. (Salary will be determined in accordance with OSD determination) 
Location: KZN Regional Office (Ref No: SAS3/2023). 
 
Requirements: Candidates should hold an LLB or relevant B degree in Law plus 8 years post graduate experience in Law; Computer literacy and a valid driver's licence are essential. 
 
Duties: The incumbent will implement contract policies and procedures; Administrate and management contract; Implement internal control and contractual stipulations; Legislation interpretation; Drafting and Vetting of legal Contracts; Manage Litigation; Provide oral and written legal opinions upon request; Handle debt collection matters; Support Labour Relations with regards to Labour matters; Implement Legislation training with the internal stakeholders in terms of need.

ASSISTANT MANAGER: FACILITIES MANAGEMENT AND AUXILIARY SUPPORT (OHS) 
Salary: R331 188.00 – R390 129.00 p.a. exclusive of benefits 
Location: KZN Regional Office (Ref No: SAS4/2023). 
 
Requirements: Candidates should hold a B degree or equivalent 3 year tertiary qualification in related spheres coupled with 3-5 years’ supervisory experience in Facilities Management and Auxiliary Support (OHS); Knowledge of the PFMA, Knowledge of Government Transport regulation; Knowledge of OHS Legislation, Knowledge of the Archives Act and Records Management; Computer literacy and a valid driver's licence are essential. 
 
Duties: The incumbent will ensure implementation and compliance with OHS policies and procedures; Inspection of all Offices in KZN; Conduct condition surveys and compile reports; Evaluate and improve OHS system (building, electrical and others); Manage SLA; Confirmation of funds for contractual payments; Evaluating working environment, developing and encouraging measures that might prevent injuries; Providing OHS information to employers, employees and the public; Systematic evaluation of the working environment; Giving information on Occupation Hygiene and also environmental and safety risks in the workplace; Holding checks and having control methods for possible hazardous exposure; Planning safe work practices for systems, facilities and equipment.

GRANTS ADMINISTRATOR X 2 POSTS 
Salary : R181 599.00 – R213 912.00 p.a. exclusive of benefits 
Location : Mpumalanga Local Office (Ref No: G19/2023) and Paulpietersburg Local Office (Ref No: G20/2023). 
 
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should have a Senior Certificate (NQF4); Computer literacy is essential. 
 
Added Advantage: A valid driver’s licence and/or administrative/ clerical experience will be an added advantage. 
 
Duties: The incumbent will assist in the administration of Social Grants at a Local Office level; Effectively screen all grants applications; Capture applications on the system; Provide customer care; Process other grants documentation/perform other grants administration functions; Conduct quality control on grants applications and Ensure adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA, Chapter 6, Part 3). 
 
 
 
 
 
 
CLERK: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT 
Salary : R181 599 – R213 912.00 p.a. exclusive of benefits 
Location : KZN Regional Office (Ref No: SAS5/2023). 
 
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should have a Senior Certificate (NQF4) with 0-1 years working experience; 
 
Added Advantage: Computer literacy and a valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage. 
 
Duties: The incumbent will render an asset management clerical support service; Render a demand and acquisition clerical support service; Render a provisioning administration support service; Ensure adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PMFA, Chapter 6, Part 3). 
 
 
 
 
 
 
ADMINISTRATION CLERK: GENERAL SUPPORT SERVICES 
Salary : R181 599.00 – R213 912.00 p.a. exclusive of benefits 
Location : Gamalakhe Local Office (Ref No: SAS6/2023). 
 
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold a Matric certificate with 0-1 years working experience. Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential (successful candidate will be expected to drive). 
 
Duties: The incumbent will be responsible for keeping log book of pool vehicles and ensure maintenance of thereof; keep appropriate registers updated; keep register of assets and do regular follow ups to update the register; check for completeness of leave forms and HR documentation; have a filing system in place aligned to the master file plan of SASSA; opening and closing of files; represent the Local Office in various meetings, forums, committees; assist with the arrangement of meetings and special events or awareness campaigns; obtaining quotation if not available; write motivation and attached Comparative Schedule; send through for approval to District/Regional Office for approval; ordering of items; receipts, check and book items in accordance to the delivery note; arrange for payment of invoice. Ensure adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA, Chapter 6, Part 3).
