Assistant Manager: Acquisitions
Salary: R356 289 – R 419 679 p.a. exclusive of benefits
Location: Head Office (Ref No. SAS In25/03/19-01)
The candidates should hold a National Diploma/ B-tech / B.com /B.compt with financial accounting and or purchasing as major subject coupled with 3-5 years’ experience in relevant field, Extensive Knowledge, Experience, interpretations and applications of accrual accounting and GRAP standards. Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).Treasury Regulations on public entity and other relevant regulations. ERP Knowledge on Oracle or SAP or AccPacc or accrual accounting complaints systems and a valid driver’s license are essential. Supervisory experience will be an added advantage.
The incumbent will ensure that operational plan; budget and resources are optimally implemented and managed; implement procurement systems for the acquisition of stores, goods and services which is cost effective; ensure invitations of quotations and tenders; Assist in preparing audit pack of internal and external audit purpose; ensure compliance with procurement policies and practices with applicable GRAP standards, Secretariat to the Bid Adjudication Committee, Ensure and quality assure submissions to the BAC, Manage Invitations, Evaluations and Awarding of bids , safe keeping of bid documents, manage the bid register, Support & Secretariat to Bid Committees, SA-GAAP and IFRS, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Constitutions, preferential Procurement Framework Act Black Economic Empowerment; Broad Black Based Economic Empowerment and other various regulations. Respond on all procurement internal and external audit queries; prepare and submit monthly reports. Submit inputs for preparations of Annual Financial Statement and Manage subordinates in the section.

Department Coordinator (Supply Chain Management)
Salary: R 299 709 – R 331 497 p.a. exclusive of benefits
Location: Head Office - Pretoria (Ref No. SAS In25/03/19-02)
Candidates should hold a National Diploma / Degree in the relevant field coupled with 2-3 years appropriate experience in office management and secretarial functions; Knowledge and a sound understanding of government policies, legislative and governance processes; Previous interaction at a high level with government officials and departments will be an added advantage; Computer literacy and a valid driver's license are essential.
The incumbent will be required to provide a complete office management, secretarial and administrative support function; Compile and collate financial reports; Assist with the development, formatting and finalization of documentation; Assist in compiling presentations; manage the document flow and filing system; Assist with matters pertaining to internal budgeting, financial management, auditing and human resource administration; Provide procurement and travel management services, support the internal management processes etc.
