GRANT ADMINISTRATOR: GRANTS ADMINISTRATION (LEVEL 5) X 1 
Salary: R181 599.00– R213 912.00 pa exclusive of benefits. 
Location: Kroonstad Local Office (Ref No: SAS FS0489/23) 
Requirements: Candidates should hold a Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4), Computer literacy is essential. 
Added advantage: A valid driver’s licence and / or administrative / clerical experience will be an added advantage. 
Duties: The incumbent will assist in the administration of Social Grants at Local Office Level; Effectively screen all grant applications; Capture applications on the system; Provide customer care; Process other grant documentation / perform other grants administration functions; Conduct quality control on grant applications and ensure adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA, Chapter 6, Part 3).

ASSISTANT MANAGER: OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT (LEVEL 09) X 1 
Salary: R393 245 – R475 596 pa exclusive of benefits. 
Location: Thabo Mofutsanyane District Office (Ref No: SAS FS 1340/23) 
 
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold a B Degree and / or a 3 year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6, 360 credits) in the relevant field, coupled with 3-5 years’ supervisory experience in the social security environment. Knowledge of SASSA constitutional mandate, relevant policies and legislation is required, as is proficiency in social security management and poverty alleviation matters, Computer literacy and a valid driver’s licence are essential. 
 
Duties: The incumbent will be responsible to manage the rendering of administrative support in the District. Deal with individual problematic beneficiary cases referred to District Office for investigation and comment and advice. Deal with overpayments in respect of alleged fraudulent cases. Manage, collate and draft reports on statistical issues within the district. Manage SOCPEN training within the district. Gather social security operational information and report on the tendencies. Supervision of Staff. Provide advice on social assistant legislation, policies and procedures on beneficiary related matters: interpretation of policy, terms and conditions and give advice to internal and external stakeholders.
