INTERNAL AUDITOR – L5/6 (TWO POSITIONS)
(Position based in Head Office: Pretoria)
Reports to: Chief Audit Executive
Summation
To contribute to the delivery of effective and high quality internal audit service by delivering operational audits allocated from the Annual Audit Plan or additional requests in order to provide independent objective assurance and consulting on governance, risk and control processes to Senior Management, the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee.
Key Responsibilities
Client engagement – Leads and coordinates the delivery of professional service to clients and builds long-term partnerships with clients.
Audit planning – Devise detailed plan to assess risks and controls within a particular process.
Audit execution – Conduct audits professionally by assessing adequacy of control design, conducting control operating effectiveness testing using the audit methodology to deliver the Annual Audit Plan.
Audit reporting – Presenting audit results to clients, and ensure relevant corrective measures are considered.
Project management – Ensure that budget and project deadlines are adhered.
Project quality – Adhere to define departmental and International Internal Audit Standards.
Corporate Governance - Ensure the efficient management, control, compliance and reporting of the function / resources in accordance with the stipulations of the PFMA, fraud prevention and risk management principles, corporate governance, legislation, company policies, processes, regulations, Delegation of Authority, etc.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Relevant 3 year tertiary qualification B Com or B Tech in Internal Auditing.
- A completed CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or studying towards a CIA will be an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-4 years
- Proven track record of professional internal audit experience across the audit life cycle in a banking/financial services environment will be an added advantage
- Risk management principles as they relate to audit practices and an understanding of the principles of regulatory guidance relative to “Strong Risk Management and Controls” expectations within the Banking/Financial services environment.
- Project Management (principles, practices, techniques and tools)
- Strategy development, deployment, planning and communications
- Organizational development, management techniques and good business practices
- Relevant statutes, rules and regulations
- SLA Management
- Knowledge of products and services provided within retail banking

SENIOR MANAGER INTERNAL AUDIT – L4
(Position based in Head Office: Pretoria)
Reports to: Chief Audit Executive
Summation
Provide adequate and effective planning, organisation and strategic leadership to teams in providing independent assurance of the control environment to the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee. Responsibility and accountability must be assumed to ensure that audit activities are adequately planned in accordance with organisational high risk aspects and the required assistance, guidance and tools are provided to execute the Annual Audit Plan and targets are achieved in accordance with the International Internal Audit Standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and effectively complete an Annual Risk Based Audit Plan that includes the coordination/facilitation of corrective measures to be taken.
- Manage and lead audit team to execute and complete audit assignments in line with the quality standards.
- Manage procurement, development and sourcing of required resources.
- Evaluation and assignment of ad hoc audit requests from management.
- Position and build sustainable customer relations with relevant stakeholders to foster collaborative partnerships and synergies
- Maintenance and adherence to the defined departmental and International Internal Audit Standards.
- Coordinate external audit activities.
- Ensure the efficient management, control, compliance and reporting of the function / resources in accordance with the stipulations of the PFMA, fraud prevention and risk management principles, corporate governance, legislation, company policies, processes, regulations, Delegation of Authority, etc.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B Com or equivalent), or Risk Management and Compliance qualification. Honours degree and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification will be an advantage
Experience:
- At least 5-8 years relevant management experience
- Experience and understanding of risk management principles as they relate to audit practices and an understanding of the principles of regulatory guidance relative to “Strong Risk Management and Controls” expectations within the Banking/Financial services environment. Technically qualified and experienced in the theory and practice of Internal Audit including the use of Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) and Audit Command Language (ACL).
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience and expertise in the following:
- Sound knowledge of the Banks Act and other relevant legislation.
- Project Management (principles, practices, techniques and tools)
- Strategy development, deployment, planning and communications
- Organizational development, management techniques and good business practices
- Risk and Compliance management
- Relevant statutes, rules and regulations
- SLA Management
- Understanding of retail banking marketing value chains and affected service providers.

Summation
The person in this position will be responsible to create reports for executive and management divisions using different Business Intelligence tools.
Key Responsibilities
BI Administration
Provide clients with information by designing methods to collect and retrieve data.
Translate business needs to technical specifications
Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
Maintain and support data analytics platforms
Create tools to store data
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
Develop and update technical documentation

Knowledge and understanding of:
Proven experience as a BI Developer, Data Scientist and Analytics platforms
Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), NoSQL, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), COGNOS, SPAGO, Report builder and relational databases
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
Financial industry experience is an advantage

Summation
Accountable to acquire new business and ensure to retain profitable business. Accountable to Postbank customer portfolio and ensure service excellence. Develop, make recommendations and execute Sales and Customer Services strategies, policies and objectives
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for the development and execution of Sales and Customer Services strategy for Postbank and achieve its objectives
• Grow deposit and customer base
• Increase profitable volume growth and sustain competitive advantage
• Accountable for strategic Management of Outbound Call Centre Postbank (procedures, systems, processes, policies)
• Conduct research/benchmark on various types of Sales and Customer Service strategies
• Resolve complaints and/or co-ordinate legal related cases referred by Ombudsmen and other Institutions to Postbank legal services
• Ensure the effective implementation, management and measurement of the Bank’s customer experience objectives.
• Inculcate the culture of excellent Customer Services to staff of Postbank
• Provide regular inputs regarding product pricing and savings operations.
• Continuous benchmarking against local and international best practices to streamline customer services.
• Ensure all Postbank sales and customer activities are aligned to FAIS requirements.
• Ensure efficient management of function / resources in accordance with the stipulations of the PFMA, fraud prevention and risk management principles, legislation, agreements, company policies, practices, procedures, regulations, etc.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
• Applicable post graduate degree (NQF 8) in Commerce/Business management or Customer Services
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) would be added advantage.
Experience
• 5-7 Years Sales and customer relationship management experience in Financial Services environment of which 3 years at management level.
• Fulfil the terms of FAIS, any related legislation or regulation and any guidelines or regulations issued by the Financial Services Board.
Knowledge
• Financial Services business principles, Company national strategy, Knowledge of banking and related services., Understanding of economic trends, Solid understanding of Customer Services and best practices, Outbound call centre metrics
• Understanding and analysis of performance measurement. Able to translate strategic plan into operational, financial, human resources, business plans etc
• Understanding of all aspects regarding licences agreements dealing with Customer Services
