Senior Manager: Property Management
(Position based in Corporate NPC-Pretoria)
Reports to: General Manager: Properties
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the overall leasing, vacancy and property management strategies
• Develop an acquisition and property assets disposal strategy
• Manage return on property assets (ROAM)
• Compile and maintain comprehensive asset register (property)
• Manage a comprehensive property management system
• Manage the internal and external stakeholder management relationships
• Ensure efficient management, control, compliance and reporting of the function / resources in accordance with the stipulations of the PFMA, fraud prevention and risk management principles, corporate governance, legislation, agreements, company policies, practices, procedures, regulations, etc.
Minimum Requirements
• Degree in Property Management (NQF 7) or equivalent
• At least 6 - 8 years’ experience in the relevant field with at least 4 years on managerial level
Knowledge and understanding of:
• Property forecasting / management
• Asset management / registers
• Title deeds laws
• Property systems development and implementation
• Property valuations
• Portfolio performance management
• Cash flow projections
• Cost / benefit analysis
• Strategy development and planning
• Change Management
• Project management (principles, practices, techniques and tools)
• Organisational development, management techniques and good business practices
• Financial Management
• Quality Management Systems (ISO standards)
• Risk and Compliance management
• Relevant statutes, rules and regulations
Skills and Attributes
Conflict resolution and/or mediation skills, Influencing and Negotiation skills, Financial Management skills, i.e. budgeting, cost benefit analysis and business case development,
Advanced verbal and written communication, presentation and selling skills, Conceptualisation and integration skills, Decision making skills, Change management,
Analytical Thinking and Research skills, Ability to analyse complex problem situations and design effective remedial solutions, planning, coordination & implementation skills,
