Job Title: HEAD HR OPERATIONS (L4)
(Position based in NPC, Pretoria)
Reports to: Chief Human Resources Officer
Summation
Responsible for the effective management and execution of the HR Operations function in line with Postbank’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Manages a HR Transaction and Administrative Centre for all administrative employee matters.
• Manage Payroll administration and execution in adherence to all statutory requirements eg, PAYE, UIF, TAX etc.
• Manage the outsourced payroll function, regular interaction with outsource payroll-provider.
• Research, design and implement compensation model and benefits strategies/policies inclusive of performance reward programs and ensure alignment with organisational requirements.
• Implement and take responsibility for annual salary reviews
• Responsible for designing and delivering core HR metrics/reports to present to the HR Committee
• Develop and review all HR policies and procedures aligned to best practise
• Manages the Medical Aid and Retirement administration and other relevant benefits
• Responsible for organisational design, define and organise the company structure. Development/ review of job profiles and conduct job evaluation or benchmarking
• Manage internal and external Stakeholder relationships
• Ensure efficient management, control, compliance and reporting of the function / resources in accordance with the stipulations of the PFMA, Banks Act, Postbank Act, fraud prevention and risk management principles, legislation, agreements, Corporate Governance, Delegation of Powers, company policies, practices, procedures, regulations, etc
Minimum Requirements
• Qualifications: B Degree (NQF 7) in Human Resources Management. Honours’ degree in Human Resources (NQF 8) or related field will be advantageous.
• South African Remuneration Association (SARA) accreditation as Reward Specialist
• Experience: At least 6 - 8 Years’ experience in a similar role with at least 4 years on managerial level. Solid experience in compensation models and reward programs are essential.
• Manage internal and external Stakeholder relationships
