Core Functions:
· Ensure the development, maintenance and management of the Performance Management Systems for levels 1-12, Bands A-Middle Management Service (MMS) and below.
· Ensure the development, maintenance and management of the Performance Management Systems for Senior Management Service (SMS) and specific Performance Management Frameworks (PMF's).
· Ensure the availability of HRM Information to inform HR practices in SAPS and to ensure compliance per Regulations and DPSA Directives in terms of the development of and reporting on HR Plan.
· Ensure Job Descriptions and Career Planning within the SAPS.
· Manage and utilise all resources allocated to the immediate post environment in accordance with relevant directives and legislation.
· Manage and utilise human, financial, physical and information resources in the immediate post environment in accordance with the strategies, priorities and regulatory framework of the SAPS
