LOCATION: Polygraph Section, Division Crime Intelligence, Head Office

Generic Requirements:
Applicants must display competency in the post-specific functions of the post;
Be in possession of a Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational);
Be proficient in at least two official languages, of which one must be English;

Competency in the post-specific functions of the post;
Be in a possession of an applicable three (3) year Degree or Diploma recorded on the National Learner Record Database on NQF level 6 or higher;
Candidates must have at least four years’ relevant practical experience in the field of the posts, with three years’ on supervisory level;
Trained in Psychophysiological Detection of Deception by an APA (American Polygraph Association) accredited institution.
Core Responsibilities:
Manage the Polygraph capacity at Division Crime Intelligence;
Perform polygraph examination related functions;
This includes: rendering of a polygraph service pertaining to the mandate of Crime Intelligence;
Serving as an aid to Investigators;
Manage all physical, human and financial resources allocated to the immediate environment.
General:
