Chief Admin Clerk: Generic Support
Remuneration Level: R 242 475 per annum
LOCATION:Organisational Development: Generic Support (Pretoria)

Generic Requirements:
 Applicants must display competency in the post-specific functions of the post;
 Be in possession of a Senior Certificate (Grade 12),
 Be a SA Citizen,
 Be fluent in at least two official languages, of which one must be English;
 Be in possession of a valid light motor vehicle driver’s licence (for Police Act members only),
 Must not have tattoo/s which will be visible when wearing summer uniform
 Must have no previous convictions or cases pending.
 Applicants will be subjected to a vetting process which will include security screening and fingerprint verification.
 
Additional Requirements:
 At least 2 years relevant experience in the field of the post. *Applicants in possession of a higher qualification in the specific field may receive preference. *Competency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be an advantage.
 
 
Core Functions:
 Ensure accurate record keeping and efficient administration, Maintain and coordinate effective office administration, Maintain high level of discipline and professional conduct
 
GENERAL

Applicants appointed under the Police Service Act will be subjected to a medical assessment by a medical practitioner as determined by SAPS prescripts.
Applicants appointed under the Police Service Act will be subjected to undergo a lateral entry training programme at a SAPS training institution, where applicable.
