Job Profile:
The purpose of the this position is to provide a technical support to Pelchem Maintenance & Engineering by improving of plants availability and reliability, efficiency, reducing of unnecessary cost ensuring safety and viability environment according to the best practice and requirements.
 
 
Key Performance Areas
Planning of maintenance and shutdown activities  
  • Monitoring of plants defects using the computer maintenance management system (CMMS);
  • Supply a planning service to assigned Pelchem operational plants;
  • Do shutdown planning of outages and establish spares material and tools required for shutdown;
  • Providing continuous feedback on any deviations of equipment defects;
  • Update maintenance system with information received from engineering and management;
  • Supply a year planner to relevant managers and supervisors for a year in advance for budget, spares and resource planning; and
  • Draw report of defects; open and closed jobs cards.
 
 
Job Requirements:
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills. 
  • Basic knowledge of plants.
  • Proper planning and time management. 
  • Management skills.
  • Computer literacy. 
 
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum Qualification Requirements:  N3 Level Trade-tested, Computer literacy (MS Office and special knowledge of CMMS system).
  • Minimum Experience: Qualified Artisan 3 years’ experience in small to medium sized machinery. Project Management qualification will be an added advantage.
