APPOINTMENT TYPE: 12 months Fixed Term Contract
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Fixed Term Contract position of a Skills Development Coordinators is required to deliver learning and development interventions for the business nationally, in all functions, in order to meet the skills requirements of the new organizational structure.
The coordination function will ensure that skills improvement interventions are implemented in line with the current Operating Model Rollout (OMR) destination role requirements. During this transition process, the role is required to develop, implement, maintain and regularly report on the transition skills training plan which is based on the requirements of the new SANRAL structure.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a Business-related field is essential.
• Three years of experience related to area of assignment being the co-ordination of skills development programs in support of employees transitioning into new roles.
• Experience in the Learning and Development administration environment with a proven track record and depth of expertise across the L & D administration value chain.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and evaluating training programs.
• Knowledge of SAP Success factors Learning Management System.
ADVANTAGEOUS:
• SuccessFactors Professional Certification.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Sound knowledge of training and development principles and practices.
• Organized and able to multi-task in a stakeholder focused environment.
• Skilled at developing and delivering training intervention plans.
• Advanced Office 365 including the use of TEAMS, Forms, MS Word & Excel.
• Ability to manage time, set priorities and plan workload to meet objectives.
• Ability to manage small projects and activities simultaneously.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with others to achieve agreed results and outcomes.
• Ability to work in teams utilising a collaborative approach to learning, both face-to-face and remotely.
• Familiarity with SAP Learning Management System and Enable Now software as well as the ability to design content creatively.
• Ability to develop training plans for individuals and groups utilizing best practice.
• May lead and facilitate work groups and committees for training and development programs. Participates in other committees as assigned in support of programmatic training and development needs.
• Provides small team and individual coaching/mentoring for a diverse group of learners.
• Develops assessment tools for the training and development program, as well as individual outcomes assessment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Under the direction of management, the role is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating of training and development interventions which are aimed at closing the identified skills gaps between the current SANRAL roles and the destination roles into which staff transitioning during the SANRAL Operating Model Rollout process.
• Proactive engagement and collaboration with leadership to identify immediate transition related training and development needs, as well as future needs.
• Assist line managers in developing the individual learning and development plan (IDP) for employees transitioning into new roles utilising the Success Factors Learning Management System.
• Assist with the identification and procurement of interventions (formal/informal training, mentoring, and coaching) in order to achieve learning outcomes which address the gaps identified during the employee transition process.
• Ensure compliance to policies, procedures and other requirements related to the skills development processes related to the transition process.
• Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation mechanisms for skills development intervention delivery utilising the existing LMS system.
• Track and report on learning management system utilisation and tutor new users to ensure compliance with digital administration of training.
• Complete submission of the transition related WSP/ATR in line with SANRAL requirements.
• Implement, where needed, digital training solutions and track learner adoption thereof.
• Drive, track and report on professional development (CPD) curriculum for SANRAL professionals in order to maintain professional registration and continuous updating of professional knowledge and skills.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate the development and use of the talent management system to support the training and development program.
• Collaborate with other training functions, as needed, to coordinate training needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
