GENERAL MANAGER: HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION
Park: Groenkloof (Head Office)
Description:
The Organisation requires the services of a General Manager: Human Capital Management and Administration. This position will be based at Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.
 
Requirements:
  • Honours degree in Human Resources Management/Social Sciences/Industrial Psychology or equivalent.
  • At least 6 to 8 years experience in Generalist Human Capital Management and 4 years of which should be practical experience in designing, implementing and developing organisation design processes and interventions, SAGE payroll systems, remuneration and employee benefits and talent management.
  • Knowledge of human capital administration and legislation.
  • An understanding of remuneration and employee benefits.
  • Knowledge of human capital management principles.
  • Knowledge of strategic planning and financial skills.
  • Knowledge of organisational design principles.
  • Change and diversity management skills.
  • A high analytical and data-driven approach
  • Communication and Interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
 
Qualifications and Experience which will provide an added advantage
  • A Master's degree in human resource management/Business Administration/Social Sciences/Industrial Psychology will be added advantage

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the HCM Management and HCM Admin strategies aligned to business goals and operational plans.
  • Provide expertise in the areas of recruitment, succession planning, data analysis, talent assessment and development.
  • Lead in the organizational design, development and manage the implementation of an integrated talent management framework
  • Ensure alignment of all talent management processes.
  • Manage and monitor the effective administration of employee benefits (medical Aids etc.).
  • Lead and manage the team including regional HCM operations to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and direction about appropriate Human Resources Information Systems (SAGE 300) for payroll and talent acquisition, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment practices, motivation, employee turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Monitor compliance, improve internal controls and mitigate related people risk.

Salary: R 945 550 - R 1 550 250

SENIOR MANAGER: IT PROJECTS
Park: Groenkloof (Head Office)
Description:
The Organisation requires the services of a Senior Manager: IT Projects in the Chief Operating Officer’s division. This position will be based at the Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.
 
Requirements:
  • Be in possession of a 3-year Degree or National Diploma in Information Technology.
  • Be in possession of a valid Project Management Professional (PMBOK) Certification or a valid Prince 2 Practitioner certification.
  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience in an IT Project Management environment, of which 2 years should be in a senior project management role.
  • Proven experience in establishing a project management office and managing project managers.
  • Knowledge of project management.
  • Knowledge of accounting management.
  • Understanding IT service delivery standards (ITIL).
  • Understanding IT governance standards (COBIT).
  • Understanding of IT governance requirements as prescribed by DPSA.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and Manage the IT project management office.
  • Develop, implement and review the IT project management framework (policies, processes, procedures and systems), based on COBIT.
  • Develop, implement and review relevant project planning, monitoring and evaluation tools.
  • Manage all IT-related projects.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of project management.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME OPPORTUNITIES: COMMUNICATIONS

Description:
South African National Parks (SANParks) is the leading conservation authority in all national parks, responsible for 3 751 113 hectares of protected land in 20 national parks. It draws its mandate from National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Act, Act 57 of 2003.
Applications are hereby invited from graduates who completed their Bachelor's degree/National Diploma (NQF6/NQF7) at a Public Higher Education Institution (HEI) in South Africa and wish to be placed in SANParks for a period of one (1) year with a monthly stipend of R6,030.00. SANParks is under no obligation to employ the Intern upon completion of the programme.
 
The following qualifications are required:
Field of Study: Diploma/Degree Library Information Science/Archival Science/Multimedia Studies
