Description:

Requirements:
- Be in possession of an NQF Level 7 qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics or Finance or Law.
- Have 4 - 6 years procurement experience in tendering processes and management thereof.
- Sound knowledge of procurement methods and procedures of a large-scale decentralized purchasing.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of service level agreements. (Travelling is essential for this job)
- Knowledge of accounting practices as applied to procurement procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Develop sourcing actions plans and Demand Plans of the region.
- Evaluate quotations based on lead-times functionality, price and Supply Chain Management (SCM) policies.
- Develop and publish RFB/ documentation available to potential bidders.
- Determine delivery requirements, product volume, delivery times and real-time.
- Manage process of approval for limited tender/closed tenders or one on one negotiation.
- Mobilise formation of SCM committee for finalisation of bids.
- Validate products specifications.
- Manage and implement strategic sourcing plans.
- Serve as a liaison with Corporate SCM to maximise relations and ensure the achievement of corporate and division objectives and initiatives.
- Manages teams to develop and implement new supply chain operations, integrate existing processes, and monitor ongoing or updated operations.
- Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Prepare and submit quarterly reports to corporate SCM.
- Facilitate Procurement Plan of the Region.
- Coordinate (synergise), review, research, analyse and plan the procurement needs of the department
- Coordinate, review, collect and collate information for the annual procurement plan
- Oversee secretariat duties to Bid Specification, Bid Evaluation.
- Conduct market research and needs analysis.
- Design, review and manage the implementation of strategic sourcing techniques.
- Manage the procurement process within the Department including the compilation of bid documents.
- Manage the commitment register, the process of issuing orders, receiving of goods procured as well as payment of suppliers.
- Manage contracts awarded and ensure delivery of goods and services accordingly.
- Provide strategic support, advice, and guidance to all responsibility managers to ensure compliance with Supply Chain Management prescripts and guidelines.

Requirements:
- Be in possession of a Legal degree (BJuris, BProc, LLB) and an Admitted Attorney.
- 10 years in the legal field of which 5 years should be in a managerial role.

- Draft and interpret employment agreement and handling of disputes related thereto.
- Draft HCM related agreements
- Provide guidance on handling and presiding over grievances incapacity (ill-health, poor work performance, injury and compatibility, pre-dismissal arbitrations and disciplinary enquiries.
- Facilitate disciplinary forensic investigations in the workplace.
- Advice on changing employment and Labour legislation and its potential impact to the organization.
- Represent the employer at CCMA mediations, arbitrations, the Labour Courts and other forums for labour disputes where external legal service providers are involved.
- Advice and assist with drafting of Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) emanating from HCM.
- Conduct Labour and Employment training as and when required.

17 UNARMED ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORS
Park: Table Mountain National Park
Description:
Vacancies currently exist for 17Â Unarmed Environmental Monitors within Table Mountain National Park to be based at various sections. The above-stated positions are on a fixed-term contract up to the end of March 2025.
The total remuneration package is a basic salary as per the Expanded Public Works Programme rates of R208.00 per day.
The successful candidate will have to provide their own accommodation as there is no official accommodation in the Park.
Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12/NCV level 4
- Aged between 18 - 35 years
- Language proficiency in English and any other local language
- Preference will be given to applicants of local communities adjacent to the Park (within 40km radius)
- Clear Criminal Record
- Basic Computer Competency (MS Word, Excel)
- Passing of fitness trial which includes: (dependent on the deployment activities)
- 2,4 km run in 12 minutes or less
- Ability to do 30 pushups and 30 sit-ups in under a minute
- Successful candidates are then granted an interview
- Successfully candidate will have to undergo medical fitness through a Medical Practitioner
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays with occasional overtime
Responsibilities:
- Assist with natural resources management - including the implementation and monitoring of indigenous and invasive fauna and flora projects, soil erosion and rehabilitation management systems.
- Provide assistance with monitoring and recording of resource management & in-field data.
- Provide assistance with monitoring the progress, standard and quality of work for the EPWP contracting teams.
- Assist with in-field verifications, mapping, and density estimations and species identification.
- Assist with stock and asset management.
- General administration - including filing, completion of timesheets, logbooks and reports.
- Assist with assessments of all standards and procedures and ensuring compliance by the relevant contractors.
- Assist with People and Conservation programs and initiatives as well as the provision of extension service to Park neighbours including environmental education.
- Assist with the management of tools, equipment, vehicles and infrastructure.
- Participation in regular patrols (foot, vehicle), applying and administering environmental legislation regulations within the boundaries of the Park, regulation of visitors’ behaviour and incident recording, interpretation and dissemination of information.
- Assist with general maintenance of park infrastructure and terrain
- Assist with fire management - including fighting wildfires, prescribed burns and fireproofing of the park boundary.
