SENIOR MANAGER: GOVERNANCE AND CONTRACT MANAGEMENT

Description:
The Organisation requires the services of a Senior Manager: Governance and Contract Management in the Supply Chain Management department. This position will be based at Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.
 
 
Requirements:
  • Be in possession of a B Degree in Supply Chain Management.
  • Should have 4 - 6 years' experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Corporate Governance and/or Contract Management and 4 years at should be on a management level. FAIS compliant.
  • Should have MCIPS as an added advantage. Knowledge of relevant legislation PFMA and its Regulations, Companies Acts, PPPFA and its Regulations, BBBEEA and Code of good practice; CIDBA and Standard for Uniformity.
  • Knowledge of the King Report (II) (III) & IV.
  • Knowledge of control contract management and corporate governance.
  • An understanding of generally accepted business principles.
  • Knowledge of Business Analysis and Risk Management skills.
  • Ability to establish governance frameworks, meeting legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret regulatory, policy and related acquisition guidance.
  • Knowledge of sound business judgement.
  • Ability to communicate internal controls concepts clear in a business context.
  • Ability to lead and supervise staff.
  • Should have strong leadership skills.
  • Should be proficient in the use of MS Office packages.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to sound corporate governance principles and enterprise ethical compliance management.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of all approval (SCM) corporate governance policies.
  • Manage and maintain systematic and integrated risk management systems.
  • Provide governance leadership by ensuring that abilities are applied purposefully in an agreed ethical environment and provide guidance on SCM Preferential Procurement Implementation to SCM Committees.
  • Develop and monitor contract development plans for SANParks.
  • Develop and monitor the implementation of service level agreements between SCM internal and external customers.
  • Direct prolific forums with service providers thereby expediting customer services.
  • Ensure sound financial management of the unit.
  • Lead, develop and manage the human capital of the unit.
