Description:
The Organisation requires the services of a Senior Manager: Ethics and Fraud Management in the Chief Operating Officer's Division. This position will be based at Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.

Requirements:
- Be in possession of an undergraduate degree (NQF) as recognized by SAQA in Risk Management/Auditing/Finance/Forensic Audit/Forensic Accounting/Commerce/Law. Being a Certified Fraud Examiner and/or Certified Ethics Officer will be an advantage
- Should have 5 years' experience at middle/senior managerial level.
- Knowledge of professional standards of the associations of certified fraud examiners.
- Knowledge of criminal law, criminal procedures, and law of evidence.
- Knowledge of the prevention and combating of Corrupt Activities Act.
- Knowledge of the Protected Disclosures Act.
- Knowledge of Promotion of Access to Information Act.
- Knowledge of minimum information security standard (MISS).
- Understanding of risk management practices.
- Knowledge of SANParks policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of PFMA and Treasury Regulations
- Knowledge of government priorities, policies, and legislation.
- Knowledge of project management.
- Knowledge of strategic management.
- Knowledge of personnel management.
- Understanding the SCM framework.
- Leadership, planning and organising skills.
- Communications and conflict management skills.
- Conflict management and presentation skills.
- Computer skills and listening skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail skills.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the development and review of the ethics governance and management policy and strategy.
- Ensure the operationalisation of the ethics steering committee, ethics operational committee and ethics ambassador's forum.
- Facilitate management commitment to ethical behaviour.
- Development of code of ethics and other ethics policies.
- Development and implementation of an ethical behaviour reward system.
- Facilitate ethics risk assessments and review and update ethics risk register.
- Development and implementation of ethics management implementation plan.
- Development and implementation of an ethics communication/awareness plan.
- Reporting on ethics management.
- Maintain ethics helpline.
- Ensure the development, review, and implementation of the fraud prevention plan, inclusive of the policy and strategy.
- Ensure the development, review, and implementation of the whistle-blowing policy.
- Ensure the development review and implementation of the investigation protocol.
- Facilitate fraud risk assessments.
- Facilitate the development of fraud risk response strategies (mitigation plans).
- Monitoring of implementation of fraud risk mitigation plans.
- Maintain the ethics and fraud hotline.
- Maintain investigation register.
- Investigation of fraud and corruption cases within timeframes.
- Monitor the implementation of recommendations resulting from investigations.
