Description:
The Organisation requires the services of a Manager: Learning and Development, Parks in the Human Capital Management Division. This position will be based at the Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.
 
 
Requirements:
  • Be in possession of a Degree in Human Resources Management/Human Resources Development.
  • Should have an Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices (OD-ETDP certificate).
  • Should have an SDF certificate.
  • Should be registered with the relevant bodies.
  • Should have 4 to 6 years of experience in learning and development.
  • An understanding of SANParks policies and reporting framework.
  • Knowledge of Good Corporate Governance Practices.
  • Should have skills development legislation such as SDA, SDLA, EEA, B-BBEE, LRA and SAQA Act.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the Development of Policies, SOPs and processes for implementation of Learning and Development programmes.
  • Implement processes and systems for effective delivery of Learning and Development programmes and ensure quality assurance.
  • Prioritise operational Learning and Development needs to be based on Divisional strategies and plans.
  • Development and prepare Learning programmes for areas of responsibility for Parks.
  • Contribute to the divisional operations plan.
  • Provide an analysis of the IDPs in order to develop appropriate Learning and Development interventions.
  • Coordinate the training needs assessments for consolidation into the WSP/ATR.
  • Compiling and submitting skills development Data/Reports for BBBEE and skills development reporting.
  • Ensure that service providers comply with quality assurance requirements and organisational needs.
  • Manage and coordinate effective implementation of training programmes (Induction, MDP, RPL, Internship and Learnerships.
  • Manage Learning and Development service provider contracts as per the area of responsibility
  • Maintain and manage stakeholder relations
 
Salary: R 541 332 - R 714 426
