Description:
The Organisation requires the services of the Manager: Human Capital Management in the Human Capital Division. This position will be based at the Cape Region, Cape Town.
Requirements:
- Be in possession of a B. Degree in Human Science, an Honours Degree or B-Tech or Postgraduate Diploma will be desirable.
- Should have 1 to 3 years' experience as a Generalist in Human Resources. An additional 2 years in a supervisor capacity.
- Should have a driver's license and own vehicle.
- An understanding of relevant HR legislation, policies and procedures.
- An understanding of industry-related legislation (Tourism and Conservation)
- Knowledge of project and financial management.
- An understanding of HR industry trends.
- Knowledge of procurement procedures.
- Knowledge of HR code of ethics.
- An understanding of the code business of SANParks.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to function in a matrix environment.
- Communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to policy development and to implement the policies to ensure good governance and compliance.
- Contribute towards the development, of and implement the strategic human capital plan in consultation with the line management.
- Provide an efficient and effective HC administrative service by ensuring accurate and timeous HC administrative information.
- Advise line management on HC practices, policies and processes to ensure compliance with legal requirements and facilitate a productive workforce.
- Compile and manage the approved regional HC budget, and advise line management accordingly.
- Coordinate and participate in the delivery of all HC functions such as OHS, EAP, Employee Resourcing, Performance Management, Organisational Design and Development, Training and Development and Employees Relations.
- Lead, manage and develop the human capital of the HC unit.
- Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Manage the Recruitment processes in line with the related SANParks' SoP and Policies.
- Ensure all Regional HCM matters are in compliance with related Audit and Inspections.
Salary: R 541 332 - R 887 521
