Description:
The position is a fixed-term contract position up to the end of 31 March 2024. Renewable on mutual agreement. The position is on a C1 Paterson Salary Band total remuneration package of R19 141.51 as the incumbent will stay outside the park. There is no accommodation available inside the Park. Own accommodation should be provided.

- Matric with an ESRI Technical Certification (GIS)
- Advance excel certificate from a registered Microsoft training service provider
- Code 08 driver's license
- Knowledge of spatial data management and use of mobile GIS applications
Responsibilities:
- Maintain standards set for GIS across all SANParks BSP Programmes
- Maintaining and making spatial data accessible across the BSP
- Support to WIMS Data Manager, Science Interface Manager and Compliance Manager
- Managing of all relevant documents in the filing system
- GIS Support and practical training across all BSP Programmes
