Description:
The Organisation requires the services of a Corporate Manager: Learning and Development, in the Human Capital Management Division. This position will be based at the Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.
Requirements:
- Be in possession of a Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources Management/Commerce.
- Should have an Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices (OD-ETDP qualification).
- Should have an SDF certificate.
- Should have 5 to 8 years experience in learning and development.
- Should have skills development legislation such as SDA, SDLA, EEA, B-BBEE, LRA and SAQA Act.
- Knowledge of National Skills Development Strategy.
- Skills Development Facilitation
- An understanding of SANParks policies and reporting framework.
- Knowledge of Good Corporate Governance Practices.
- Leadership and management skills.
- Planning and organising skills.
- Problems solving skills.
- Project management skills.
- Computer skills.
- Listening skills.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to details.
- Making rule-based and analytical decision.
Responsibilities:
- Operationalise and implement strategic imperatives as allocated to the work unit into service, products and implementation framework.
- Analysing the SETA, Sector Skills Plan and National Biodiversity Human Capital Development strategy to ensure alignment to the Learning and Development strategic programmes.
- Contribute to the divisional operational plan.
- Develop policies, standard operating procedures and processes for the implementation of the Learning and Development programmes.
- Manage and coordinate effective implementation of training programmes (Induction, MDP, PPL, Internships and Learnerships).
- Manage the implementation of a special project (Co-funded/ collaborations).
- Performing accounting activities in line with SANParks policies and procedures.
- Assist in managing institutional risk, in order to ensure the achievement of strategic organisational objectives.
- Maintain and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Manage and develop people and gain their trust and cooperation to achieve results.
Salary: R 646 649 - R 1 060 192
