Description:
Vacancies currently exist for two Maintenance Officers within the Kruger National Park, at Shingwedzi and Olifants Rest Camps respectively;

Requirements:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities that are required for the job:
- Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing and Drain laying
- Qualified Registered Artisans.
- 7 years Maintenance operational experience
- Lodge Infrastructure maintenance experience
- Advanced knowledge in plumbing, carpentry and painting will be an added advantage
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office package,
- Good communication, Customer Service skills, Interpersonal skills and Diversity Management skills.
- Sound financial background.
- Valid Drivers license.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure that all tourism facilities are maintained and operational up to an acceptable standard.
- To ensure that maintenance operations are in compliance with SANS building regulations
- To ensure that all facilities and operations are in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
- To do regular inspections and ensure efficient functioning of water and sewer plant including equipment and reticulation.
- To ensure compliance with Licensing agreements applicable on waste site operations and swimming pools.
- To perform inspections, schedules and checks on infrastructure including firefighting systems, camp fences and keep records
- To provide on the job training to Trade Workers and General Workers.
- To supervise and administer the maintenance section.
- To ensure that all maintenance operations are performed within the approved budget.
Salary: R 205 587 - R 316 791
