SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR: MECHANICAL AND PHYSICAL TESTING PROGRAM

SALARY: COMPETITIVE AND MARKET RELATED PACKAGE
The South African National Accreditation Systems (SANAS), based in Pretoria, is listed as a Schedule 3A Public Entity according to the National Public Entities Classification.
SANAS is mandated to be the Sole Provider of National Accreditation Services, whereby it formally recognises the technical competency of calibration and conformity assessment service providers that offer testing, inspection verification and calibration services as well as inspection against OECD GLP Principles in both the public and private domains.
SANAS seeks to employ an experienced Administrator with strong operational background. The main responsibility of the successful candidate will be to manage the daily operational and administration activities of the programme.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Implement work plans and contribute to business unit project objectives and deadlines
Generate monthly reports and statistics
Provide excellent client services to ensure client satisfaction
Coordinate the implementation of the corrective actions timeline and approval committee outcomes for all client assessments
Coordinate and process cost effective travel arrangements for client assessments
Ensure quality and efficient output of client certificates
Quality check and close out Certificates and Schedules of Accreditation administration process
Compiling of assessment documentation in accordance to relevant standards and procedures as per client assessment schedule
Filing of all relevant assessment documentation and /or correspondence
Maintain website and work database client information
COMPULSORY REQUIREMENTS:
National Diploma in Office Administration / Business Administration / Equivalent
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Administrator
Computer literacy (Working knowledge of MS Office)
COMPETENCIES/KNOWLEDGE:
Professionalism and good written and verbal communication skills
Good organisational, coordination and negotiation skills
Time management skills and target driven
Ability to work under pressure and being flexible
Attention to detail, accuracy
Ability to operate independently and work as part of a team, as work requires
Build and maintain sound relationships with internal and external stakeholders
