INTERNAL AUDITOR - ICT AND COMPLIANCE (MIDRAND)

Description
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- The Internal Auditor (ICT and Compliance ) conducts assigned internal audit engagements and special ad hoc projects under the supervision of the Senior Internal Auditor in accordance with the risk based internal audit plan.
- Participate by making inputs to the preparation and development of the Audit Project Plan.
- Conduct preliminary survey on allocated audit engagements. a break-down in a control for understanding the business environment and all aspects of the audit area with respect to information flows, policies and procedures.
- Interview personnel of audit area to obtain relevant audit information.
- Draft system description and / or flowchart.
Identify key controls within the audit area.
Identify critical control points in a system flowchart
Compile a control gap analysis identifying audit objectives, risks and controls.
- Develop audit program and testing procedures relevant to risks and test objectives identified.
- Prepare working papers documenting work performed in line with the audit methodology.
- Perform audit test as per approved audit programme.
- Evaluate measures instituted by management to ensure that resources have been acquired economically, utilised efficiently and effectively.
- Perform compliance tests (tests of the operation controls)
- Document audit test results on working papers.
- Conclude on working papers in line with the audit objectives.
- Compile exceptions based on working papers, test results and conclusions and submit to the Senior Internal Auditor for review.
- Perform relevant follow-up of previous audit findings.
- Gather evidence to support the conclusion reached for follow-ups.
- Prepared all manual and electronic files/working papers in line with the audit methodology.
- Ensures that all audits are conducted within the agreed budget, hours and timeframes.
Requirements
Minimum Qualification:
- NQF Level 7 qualification i.e., Bachelor of Commerce Degree or Bachelor of Technology in Audit or ICT or equivalent.
- Must hold or be studying towards a CIA, CRMA, and CCSA.
- A registered member with the appropriate professional body (IIA SA)
- 5 years Financial management or Internal Auditing Experience

Description
Overall Purpose of the Job
To determine the operational level of safety that the prospective and approval holder can achieve and does in fact achieve in actual operations. Through evaluation (assess), monitor (conduct periodic and unannounced surveillance) of compliance to operations of an aircraft:
- making recommendations regarding the issuance or amendment of the AOC and the associated operations specifications, and the operator's competence to continue to exercise the privileges of the certificate.
- making recommendations concerning any special conditions that, considering the investigation, may need to be imposed.
- informing the operator of any deficiencies needing rectification; and making recommendations concerning appropriate enforcement action.

- conduct routine inspections such as the inspection of a station facility, apron, en-route operation and base and carry out oversight or checks considered necessary at prescribed intervals.
- assess the effectiveness of the operator’s SMS and the level of resources allocated to it.
- conduct such inspections or oversight in accordance with an established work programme and applicable standard procedures and instructions.
- advise the operator, in writing, of any significant deficiency, requesting a proposal for remedial action;
- conduct follow-up on inspection reports to ensure that appropriate action has been taken in a timely manner.
- submit reports on each inspection or investigation in the manner prescribed, and complete and process the applicable inspection forms;
- investigate and report, as required, possible violations of the basic aviation law or related safety operating regulations and rules;
- continuously review the operator's pertinent documentation (e.g. Operations, Training, SMS, Quality, Maintenance Control Manuals and Aircraft Maintenance Programmes), company policies, operating instructions and information to staff and system of amendments to determine whether they are accurate and made available in a timely manner to persons requiring their use;
- keep appropriate CAA inspectorate staff informed on all aspects of the current operation and projected developments in the company including changes in executive personnel, in assigned responsibilities and in the operator's organization in general
- Keep abreast and remain proficient in specialist skills, human factors and new developments of technology.
- Proactively research, develop and propose the specific standards to be applied in operator operations.
- Project a satisfactory image of the SACAA to all stakeholders.
- Provide industry feedback to the Authority.
- Promote aviation safety by proposing improvements in operational requirements.

OVERALL, PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The post holder will be responsible for the development of User Interface/Experience (UI/UX) methodologies, designing system of user interfaces, system mock-ups, user stories, UI/UX testing techniques, metrices, UI/UX test plans and cases and ensure that designs meet business and functional requirements specifications.

Requirements
Minimum Qualification
B Arts or related degree
Certificate in Information Security and Certificate in UX Fundamentals
Ideal Qualification
B Honus Degree or BTech in IT
Experience
1 year - Working on ICT Projects as a Tester and/or graphic designer
1 year - Working on various graphic design assignments
1 year - Knowledge and understanding of Information and records management
1 year - System Development (using Microsoft Power platforms would be an added advantage)
