MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The core function of this role is to sell audio/ visual / solutions within the SABC eco-system. The role primarily consists of managing and overseeing a portfolio of advertiser’s accounts and agencies. Accountability includes but not limited to being a liaison for clients and ensuring customer satisfaction by proactively addressing clients’ needs and facilitating the entire sale process. The role also entails growing new client bases and contributing to an increase in current sales levels to ensure achievement of revenue targets.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Main purpose of position

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Develop and implement SAP enhancements and new functionalities in line with business requirements and best practice.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Responsible for the SAP Netweaver applications development in ECC, BW, and Enterprise Portal / UI5 Portal.
  • Design, build and test custom SAP technical solutions based on business requirements using ABAP OO, SAP UI5, SAP Fiori, SAP Web Dynpro and Dialog programmes.
  • Full life-cycle SAP implementation including all custom reporting, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows (RICEFW) and portal configuration.

Main purpose of position

Key Accountabilities
  • Conceptualize, script, and produce cutting edge, top notch, break through generic, seasonal and thematic Station Imaging (jingles, promos, liners).
  • Prepare/compile briefs for station’s brand and imaging campaigns.
  • Identify and utilize relevant voice overs in order to produce station imaging.
  • Receive bookings and prepare for recordings, ensuring all equipment, facilities and resources are available for production, according to production specifications

Requirements:
  • National Diploma or Degree in Sound Engineering or related discipline. (NQF level 6)
  • 4 years’ experience in broadcasting environment of which 2 years should be on radio technical production. 
  • Proficiency in recording and editing software (i.e. pro tools, audacity, adobe etc).
  • Above average experience and knowledge of broadcasting production technology and digital media application
  • Above average proficiency of the English language (spoken and written) is essential
  • Ability and willingness to work under pressure and on short notice
  • Good research skills and ability to apply research information
  • Knowledge of popular music and current affairs will be an advantage
  • Candidate must have good command of IsiZulu both written and spoken
