What will you be doing?
The role is responsible for customer service activities in their assigned geographical area and reports to the Customer Services Manager.
This role calls for the effective, efficient and accurate receipt and transcription of telephonic and other orders from Medical Market Customers.
What will you need to be successful?
- Handle customer queries expeditiously and maintain the necessary records of normal and special trading deals, Tenders, as well as document control.
- Ensure all customer account and trading details are accurately recorded and maintained, as well as the essential links in this connection with Central Credit Control.
- Responsible for regular courtesy and follow-up customer contact calls to maintain service and information relationships.
- Responsible for telephonic and emailed orders from designated customers, ensuring that all customer details, order content and pricing are correct before capturing, releasing and filing.
- Processes official orders, and orders brought in by Sales Representatives.
- Advising customers of any incorrect prices noted on official orders and clears up uncertainties and incorrect information on official orders.
- Processes Quotations, Escalations and SPAs, ensuring that deadlines are timeously met.

What will you be doing?

- Liaise with National Distribution Centre for stock requirements as well other Operational Service Centers as and when required.
- Run the back-order report and makes sure that back orders are supplied timeously.
- Analyse depot Stock Transfer requirements before releasing pick lists and consults with their Operations Manager if there are any queries.
- Analyse cycle count discrepancies and refers to the Operations Manager when adjustments are required.
- Participate in all stock takes.
- Ensure that Tray Inspections are done when required.
- Quality SOP ISO 13485-2016 is adhered to.
- Comply with Local and International regulations of Smith and Nephew.

- Ability to prioritize and plan daily workload to meet customer expectations and departmental goals and objectives.
- Ensure good document management and adherence to all document control regulations.
- Develop strong relationships with customers and provide positive and professional customer service and support.
- Respond to customer’s enquiries and manage disputes within the required response time.
- Use initiative and be proactive in resolving customer queries promptly. Seek assistance from Team lead when needed to determine appropriate solution.
- Utilize all customer & external third party systems/ portals as required in order to perform daily duties.
- Foster strong relationships with Sales and Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics and Warehouse staff.
- Collaborate with colleagues and ensure cross skilling and best practice sharing on a continuous basis.
- Assist with supplying data for daily/weekly/ monthly management reports as required.

What will you be doing?
The role will be responsible for the successful launch, promotion and sales of his/her specific product range to Orthopaedic Surgeons. The continuing education in the correct application and usage of these products in the sales territory allocated to the incumbent is paramount. The incumbent reports to the Regional Sales Manager responsible for their allocated territory.
What will you need to be successful?
- Attain and exceed targeted sales.
- Develop and maintain a regular calling pattern and to report accordingly.
- Ensure that all customers are fully cognisant of the product range.
- Attend theatre cases to give technical advice.
- Supervise competitor activity.
Attaining and exceeding targeted sales for the products to be sold in the territory. These products will be promoted and sold to the following outlet types:
- Private hospitals and clinics
- Provincial Hospitals
- Military hospitals
- Other outlets specified by his/her Manager.
Develop a routine calling pattern for all customers within own area as follows:

The role reports into the Business Unit Director of Advanced Wound Care and is responsible for the achievement of the company objectives and management of the relevant region of South Africa.
What will you need to be successful?
- Achieve sales targets as agreed for the year.
- Monitor service levels within the region
- Provide recommendations for the improvement of performance levels and the attainment of strategic objectives within the region.
- Provide regular feedback on competitive activity within the region.
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders.
- Have a working relationship with all departments.

Successful candidates would need the following:
- Matric Qualification
