MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To facilitate the implementation of the Seda incubation strategy, capacitate and support technology business incubators to ensure the development of competitive and sustainable enterprises
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Provide operational support in the establishment of technology business incubation and accelerators in accordance with Seda’s Incubation strategy
Provide operational support to existing and new technology business incubators (TBI’s) and accelerators
Monitor and evaluate TBI’s and accelerators performance and recommend appropriate interventions
Network and build effective linkages with relevant stakeholders
Manage the effective performance and efficiency levels of a portfolio of incubators /accelerators
Facilitate and/or provide mentoring and coaching of incubator /accelerator Centre Managers
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Matric (NQF Level 4) plus a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Operations Management or Business Management or Incubation Management or Entrepreneurship Management or Project Management or Computer Science.
Bachelor Degree (NQF Level 7) in Operations Management or Business Management or Incubation Management or Entrepreneurship Management or Computer Science or Project Management as added advantage
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
4-6 years’ experience in Enterprise Development/Technology Business Incubation and Business Advising
Proven experience in an innovation and technology-driven industry or organization
Experience in assessing the viability and sustainability of small enterprises
In depth understanding of the enterprise development and incubation/accelerators ecosystem
Project Management experience
Advanced Computer literacy - MS Office and MS Projects
Valid South African Drivers Licence

Represent cooperatives and collective enterprises at local stakeholder forums.
Mobilize communities in order to develop functional and well running cooperatives and collective enterprises.
