MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To strategically direct and coordinate implementation of best practice Seda Technology Programme services namely, Incubation, Technology Transfer and Quality and Standards functions through Seda’s Technology Business Centers and various access points in order to enhance competitiveness and sustainability of Small and Medium Enterprises.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Participate in the development and implementation of Seda strategy and resourcing of strategic objectives in a sustainable manner.
Develop and oversee the implementation of sound integrated Seda Technology Programme strategy, policies, guidelines and business plan.
Oversee the Seda Incubation operations and provision of support to Technology Business Centres.
Oversee and manage the provision of Quality, Standards and Technology Transfer operations.
Assure the embedding of risk, compliance and audit practices all the Divisions processes and systems.
Manage the Divisions resources (People, Finance and Assets).
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Matric (NQF Level 4) and Bachelor Degree (NQF Level 7), Honours (NQF Level 8) in Commerce/Technology Management/Engineering disciplines plus a Masters Degree (NQF Level 9)

10+ year’s work experience in the Small Enterprises Development Sector of which 5 years’ experience should have been in Senior Management role
Able to demonstrate:
Direct experience in SMME programmes and / or related development.
End – to – End understanding of business processes to enable all SMME programmes at Seda.
Knowledge of all government Small Enterprise Support Strategy and Programmes.
Successful track record in the implementation of the business strategy and related policies.
Understanding of operations, finance and support functions.
Experience in managing transformation and change processes.
Knowledge and experience of stakeholder management and partnerships.
