MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To strategically direct and oversee the provisioning of ICT, Business Information Systems as well as organizational planning for Strategy and Organizational Performance Management and Reporting functions to enable systematic monitoring and evaluation of various business units.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Participate in the development and implementation of Seda strategy and resourcing of strategic objectives in a sustainable manner
Oversee the provision of Information and Communication Technology services
Oversee the provision of Business Information Systems services which includes Knowledge Management
Oversee the provision of Strategy and Organisational Performance management services
Assure the embedding of risk, compliance and audit practices all the Divisions processes and systems
Manage the Divisions resources (people, finance and assets)
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION
Matric (NQF Level 4) and Bachelor Degree (NQF Level 7), Honours Degree (NQF level 8) in Information Management/Systems or Business Administration plus a Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9).

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION
Matric (NQF Level 4) and Bachelor Degree (NQF Level 7), Honours Degree (NQF level 8) in Information Management/Systems or Business Administration plus a Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9).
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
10+ years of hands on experience in a combination of Planning, Strategic Management, ICT and Information Management/Systems environment of which 5 year’s experience in Senior Management role
Able to demonstrate:
Knowledge and experience in strategy formulation, monitoring and evaluation systems, organisational performance and reporting
Understanding of the public sector compliance environment
Direct management of a major ICT operation
Practical application of a project management approach such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK
Understanding of ICT governance frameworks and quality standards e.g. COBIT and ITIL
Understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Understanding of Public Service governance framework
