JOB TITLE: Chief Financial Officer
DURATION: Twelve (12) Months Contract

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To strategically direct and oversee the implementation of appropriate financial accounting, management accounting and supply chain management strategies and plans for the various business units of Seda by introducing appropriate financial, accounting and procurement systems , processes, procedures, policies and internal controls in line with the PFMA, Treasury Regulations and Seda Board requirements.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Participate in the development and implementation of Seda strategy and resourcing of strategic objectives in a sustainable manner
Oversee the provisioning of financial management services
Oversee the provisioning of management accounting and budget management services
Oversee the provisioning of supply chain management services
Oversee adherence to reporting timelines
Assure the embedding of risk, compliance and audit practices all the Divisions processes and systems
Manage the Division’s resources (people, finance and assets)
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Matric (NQF Level 4) and Bachelor Degree (NQF Level 7), Honours (NQF Level 8) in B Com Accounting/ Financial Management plus a Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9)
CA (SA) will be an added advantage

10+ years of hands on experience in a financial management and financial administration environment of which 5 year’s experience in Senior Management role
Able to demonstrate:
Sound knowledge and experience in financial management, budgeting, revenue management, working capital and cash flow management
Extensive knowledge of GRAP, PFMA and Treasury Regulations
Knowledge and understanding of Corporate Governance Systems (King IV report) and Risk Management
Extensive management and leadership experience
