JOB PROFILE 
 
JOB TITLE: Branch Administration - Intern 
DURATION: Twelve (12) Months Contract 
REPORTING TO: Branch Manager – Overberg Branch, Hermanus 
JOB GRADE: Stipend per Month R4 000
NO. OF INCUMBENTS: 1 
DIVISION: Enterprise Development Division 
LOCATION: Western Cape 
 
 
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The purpose of the internship programme is to provide appropriate and relevant work experience which is in line with the intern’s qualification. 
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
 Manage Switchboard and Reception area
 Provide asset Management, implement effective filing system in the Branch including management of pool vehicle
 Provide administrative services and handle face to face enquiries from visitors
 
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION
 Matric (NQF level 4) and a three year tertiary qualification (NQF level 6) in Business Management or Secretarial diploma (NQF Level 6) 
 
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
 Not applicable – work experience exposure programme
Able to demonstrate
 Knowledge of secretarial duties
 Knowledge of MS Office packages
