Office Manager: Office of the Principal (SL9) x 1 Post (Permanent)

Salary Range: R376 596.00 – R443 601.00
Requirements: Matric +3 year qualification from an accredited tertiary Institution. A minimum of five (5) years administrative experience. Good interpersonal skills. Good Communication Skills (Verbal and written). Good presentation, planning and organising skills. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Continued Education and Training Act. Experience in interacting with the public and high profile individuals, including external executives and/or Council Members will be an added advantage. Candidate must be prepared to work long hours. Secretarial, Financial, and project management qualification will stand as a high recommendation. Valid driver’s licence. Computer literacy will be tested on the day of interviews.
Key Performance Areas: Manage day to day activities in the Office of the College Principal. Provide governance services. Ensure compliance to governance standards at all times. Provide assistance to College Council and Management on governance related matters. Assist the Principal in facilitating review of College Policies and Procedures. Facilitate annual review of College Statute, Council and Committees of Council Charters. Provide secretarial services to College Council and its committees as well as Senior Management Team. Assist during the development of College plans and reporting thereof. Coordinate the development of College year plan and management thereof. Responsible for all logistical arrangements’ for College Council, its committees’ Principal and Senior Management e.g. Accommodation bookings, travelling and other related allowances. Ensure timeous preparation and distribution of Council and Committees’ administrative material (e.g. Meetings invitations, agendas, schedules, notices, minutes, reports etc.) consistent with Council approved policies and procedures. Keep all official records of College Plans and all College Council activities, including those of Committees and Senior Management Team, as directed by the Council and College management.

Computer literacy will be tested on the day of interviews.
Key Performance Areas: Manage the diary and co-ordinate the travel requirements of the Principal. Develop and maintain a filing and record keeping management system. Co-ordinate and arrange conference facilities, social events and catering. Take minutes during meetings. Transcribe and distribute minutes to participants. Perform all secretarial-related duties.

Key Performance Areas: Responsible for SCM activities at Campus level including preparation, submission and monitoring of requisition for moveable assets and consumables. Receive and check deliveries of requested goods against approved quotations. Manage and update stock register on movable assets and consumables. Responsible for the monitoring of Campus Assets.
