Sedibeng Water with its headquarters situated in Balkfontein just outside Bothaville has an operational area spanning across three (3) provinces namely: Free State, North West and Northern Cape making it one of the largest water in the country. In order to meet the demands of its growth strategy, the organization is looking for suitably qualified individual to fill the following vacancies:
 
INSTRUMENT MECHANIST
Virginia
 
 
REQUIREMENTS: N4/S2; Trade Tests (Electrical and Instrumentation); 3 years relevant experience in Electrical and Instrumentation; Wireman's license; and A valid driver's License;
 
PERSON PROFILE - The incumbent must:have ability to work within tight timelines; have equipment calibration skills; have ability to analyse and resolve problems; have knowledge of PLC, CSADA and Network; and Be Computer Literate. 
 
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain electrical installations, equipment and refrigeration equipment; Do fault-finding, repair or replace faulty parts on telemetry, radio and telephone systems as part of maintenance; Maintain and calibrate instrumentation, pneumatic and dosing equipment in terms of unplanned and scheduled maintenance programmes; Conduct machinery lock-outs during repairs and maintenance programmes; Do high and low voltage panels, cables and transformers switching; Interact with suppliers; Oversee the work external service provider to ensure quality and compliance; Ensure  adherence to safety, health and environmental standards in the workplace.
