As an Electrician, you will be responsible for:

- Overhaul AC and DC motors and perform series of tests on each motor to determine the condition of the motor windings, insulation and core lamination during this process.

As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be responsible to :
- Verify all invoices received via e-invoice system in terms of SARS requirements
- Review all invoices that do not pass through the 3-way match and investigate the reason for non-posting
- Follow up on overdue workflows, clarify and rectify the reason for the delay
- Manage incoming e-mails and telephone calls from vendors regarding queries related to payment processes/invoices
- Execute and review payment proposals on SAP ensuring that the correct parameters are used
- Analyse in depth vendor accounts to identify aged items appearing on the GRIR reports to identify possible items for write back
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for vendors as per the category requirements - this includes reconciliations required for GRIR clearing and audit requirements (External and Internal)
- Perform the operational testing required when any financial system is upgraded/changed
- Maintain and update the four week rolling cash flow for FEC, CFC and SES and submit to supervisors weekly

- Samples liquor after the reaction and pumps the correct tanks based on results.

We’re on the lockout for Relief : Utilities Field Operator the incumbent in this position will provide assistance to the Process Controller for the continuous and efficient operation of the Boilers, TFR, PM Abatement, Power station & Auxiliary Plants and to ensure that the plant remains clean at all times operating in a safe and efficient manner.
As a Relief : Utilities Field Operator you will be responsible to:
- Opens, closes manual valves on request
- Manipulates valves to the correct open or close position based on start-up or shutdown and normal operations
- Opens and closes by-pass lines as and when required
- Assist the Process Controller in changing over and flushing of all relevant pipework
- Checks the functionality of all-important auxiliary equipment’s of the Boiler
- Conducts plant related tasks on instruction from foreman and process controller
- Checks coal bunker levels at the beginning of every shift
- Cleans hydro seals on boilers
- Conduct baghouse section checks and plant operation including housekeeping.
- Monitor TFR section and conduct housekeeping as and when required

- Receive source documentation by email from Sappi companies and determine company codes, general ledger codes and tax codes involved, recording the entry in SAP using correct transaction type
- Confirm that all inter-company accounts balance once information is captured by running reports in SAP and comparing balances
- Prepare and send payment proposals (local and foreign) to the Finance Manager for the settlement of all intercompany accounts
- Prepare general ledger reconciliations for review including any GL recon required and not limited to intercompany
- Prepare and upload journals for all business units, including journals required to be uploaded by the general accounts team and not limited to intercompany related journals
- Complete tax pack tabs accurately and completely addressing review queries from head office Tax department
- Confirm invoices are valid as per VAT act requirements and process customer payments timeously according to information receive
- Prepare weekly spreadhseet analysis from bank statements, listing all transactions and allocate to the correct categories
- Ensure that deadlines will be met to ensure continuity of operations and being to plan and organise period closing transactions in a timely manner
