The following contract position exists in the organization, and expires on 31 March 2025:
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT OFFICER
ALL-INCLUSIVE ANNUAL REMUNERATION PACKAGE (TCTC): R485 629.00
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the incumbent shall be responsible for:

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT OFFICER
ALL-INCLUSIVE ANNUAL REMUNERATION PACKAGE (TCTC): R485 629.00
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the incumbent shall be responsible for:
- Input into the development and implementation of the operations plans to achieve the approved SCM strategy
- Input into the development of the SCM procurement policy and procedures
- Input into the review of SCM related Committee Terms of References
- Provide input into the development of the SCM procurement plan on an annual basis
- Coordinate the completion and development of specifications and/or terms of reference in line with the demand and procurement plan
- Receive and/or prepare procurement request document
- Coordinate and participate in BSC meetings to ensure that the specifications are drafted
- Compile RFQs and bid documents and source prospective service providers on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Place tender adverts in relevant media
- Coordinate and prepare and participate in Bid Evaluation Committee (BEC) pack
- Conduct the pre assessment and due diligence of SCM providers, selection and, appointment in line with organisational policies and procedures
- Prepare the BEC report, the BAC Pack and submit for approval
- Coordinate BAC meetings and undertake the secretariat function
- Drafting RFQ SLAs in line with the SASSETA SLA templates
- Ensure the processing of SCM unit providers invoices in line with the SASSETA policy and procedures
- Input and implementation of the development a disposal plan in line with policies and procedures
- Coordinate the resolution of stakeholder queries and complaints in a manner that maintains the stakeholder relationships within the required timeframes
- Represent SASSETA at various SCM Stakeholder Forums
- Enhance capacity within the team; monitor, evaluate and supervise direct reports
- Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures
- Support a cohesive, high-performing team
- Input into the audit process and queries
- Input into the identification and monitoring of departmental risks
- Submit reports as and when required performing any other duty(ies) that may be delegated by the SCM Manager from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of NQF level 6 qualification in SCM/ Logistics/Finance or Business Management is required
- A minimum of 2 years SCM experience is required; and
- Must be computer literate at an intermediate level
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, P-PPFA and other relevant legislation;
- Knowledge of administrative processes and systems;
- Understanding of tendering processes;
- Understanding of asset management process;
- Understanding of contract management processes;

- Ability to implement / monitor policies, procedures and guidelines;

The following contract positions expiring on 31 March 2025 exist in the organisation:
CERTIFICATION SUPERVISOR
All-inclusive Annual Remuneration Package (TCTC): R 485 629.00
Reporting directly to the ETQA Manager: the incumbent shall be responsible for the following:
- Analyse learner result verification reports in line with SASSETA policy and requirements
- Authorise capturing of learner results and printing of certificates
- Ensuring compliance with and implementation of relative policies and procedures
- Ensuring that the certificates reports during Auditing exercises are submitted as required
- Track certification approval and manage that timeframe is complied with
- Ensure that Artisan serial numbers are issued for NAMB certification
- Supervise the Update process on the system with progress steps and actions including sample testing of Learner Achievement results before printing
- Supervise submission of all learner result verification documentation and copy certificates to Registry for filing when process is completed
- Report on certification as required
- Update system with approved certification information
- Report system issues to ICT to ensure continuity
- Ensure that Learner Registration information is complete, valid and compliant
- Ensure that certificates are produced and distributed according to SDP stipulation and requirements and within timeframes
- Supervise the accurate and correct certificate printing process
- Address irregularities and implement corrective action as required
- Complete and maintain a comprehensive register with individual issued certificates and date of production and distribution
- Coordinate reissue of certificates to validated recipients within timeframes
- Report on certificate processing as required
- Ensure stock availability and ordering of certificate stationery
- Attend SAQA/NLRD and QCTO meetings representing SASSETA to ensure the correct Learner Data is submitted
- Secure information and provide feedback on certification requirements
- Receive and resolve queries from stakeholders within timeframes
- Track progress of certification applications and provide feedback as required
- Ensure required levels of competence of team members are met
- Identify areas for improvement within certification application process
- Facilitate the required training interventions to close skills and competency gaps
- Ensure up-skilling of team relating to policies and procedures compliance
- Mentoring and coaching identified team members where gaps are evident
- Establish and implement appropriate KRA’s to the team to meet the expected deliverables of the Unit.
- Manage the performance process relating to the Certification team
- Manage employee relations and disciplinary and grievance aspects
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 is requirement
- An NQF Level 6 qualification in Training and development / Education Management / Monitoring and Evaluation / OD ETD is required
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Sector Education and Training environment.
- A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience is required
- Must have a moderate understanding of the core function of the division
- Must be computer literate at an intermediate level
- Must have a sound understanding of Skills Development
- Must have previous experience in working with diverse stakeholder constituencies
