The following contract positions expiring on 31st March 2030 exists in the organisation:
COMMUNICATIONS PRACTITIONER (1 POSITION)
ALL INCLUSIVE ANNUAL REMUNERATION PACKAGE (TCTC): (R637 461,00)
SASSETA Communications Manager’s role is to manage, coordinate and facilitate the daily communication and transfer of information within SASSETA and in its social media and contact centre, in both the Digital and Language formats. They are also required to coordinate the communication and marketing processes with external stakeholders.
Reporting directly to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the incumbent shall be responsible for:
- Delivery of Internal Communications (Staff)
- Draft and obtain approval of planned communications, prior to disseminating to staff.
- Track and monitor internal communication response
- Receive requests for internal communication, recommend communication approach and draft communication in line with approved approach
- Support and Assist in the development and dissemination of the annual survey
- Report on internal communication as required
Track and monitor social media commentary on SASSETA
Manage and monitor responses to digital communications from contact centre
Update appropriate digital media with approved and relevant information
Report on digital communications as required Delivery of Stakeholder Communications (Internal & External)
- Coordinate and collaborate with different internal departments relating to specific external and public events (exhibitions, roadshows, conferences, presentations, publications etc.)
- Develop, review and approve core messaging for internal and external stakeholders in line with approved briefs
- Review, edit and project manage the design, print and distribution of all corporate publications
- Track and monitor implementation of core messaging and responses
- Report on stakeholder communication as required
- Supervise the contact centre
- Set call targets and manage staff in line with call requirements
- Track and address issues with call quality and knowledge
- Address call efficiency
- Monitor call centre availability
- Participate in marketing planning and scheduling
- Participate in marketing functions, representing SASSETA and providing required support
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A qualification (NQF 6) in Marketing or Communications or Public Relations or Social Media Management is required
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant field is required.
- A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience is preferred
- Must be computer literate at a relevant level (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams and Zoom)
- A valid Drivers’ licence

Learning Programme Evaluator (Specialist)
All-inclusive Annual Remuneration Package (TCTC): R 763 331.00
Reporting directly to the ETQA Manager: the incumbent shall be responsible for the following:
- Develop and manage a list of Registered Occupational Qualifications and learning programmes across sectors
- Facilitate qualification re-alignment / new development processes with identified CEP’s and appointed SME Facilitator / QDF’s
- Coordinate subsector stakeholder’s qualification requests for re-alignment / new development with the QCTO
- Coordinate processes and procedures for development and re-alignment of qualification
- Track qualification re-alignment progress with SME Facilitator / QDF’s and obtain progress reports
- Ensure qualification re-alignment / new development completion meet requirements and ensure submission to the QCTO is within time frames
- Identify gaps across sub-sectors and develop recommendations to address qualifications and learning programmes gaps and submit for approval
- Implement approved recommendations and coordinate development of approved qualifications and learning programmes
- Track the development of qualifications and learning programmes in line with identified gaps and approved recommendations
- Report on learning programme and qualification development as required
- To manage the coordination and assessment of learning materials that are developed for specific occupational qualifications
- To monitor and manage any investigations and approve corrective action
- To monitor and manage the service provider capacity building programme
- To report on quality assurance activities, actions and decisions
- Coordinate the QCTO and stakeholders expectations, ensuring completion of qualification development process
- Coordinate SME Facilitator / QDF’s for delivery of project milestones ensuring completion and
- Coordinate the qualifications verification process
- Coordinate the qualifications development process report
- Submit the developed Curriculum document, Assessment Specifications document, Qualification document, process report, progress report and attendance registers for all meetings
- Report to the QCTO on the performance of functions in the form and manner required by the QCTO
- Coordinate Development of Qualification Assessment Specification (QAS)
- Coordinate the development of RPL tools
- Review of qualification development policies
- Submit recommendations and supporting documentation for review
- Update system with progress steps and actions
- Manage the submission of all evaluation documentation to Registry for Distribute learning materials to external evaluators for evaluation
- filing when process is completed
- Report on evaluation of learning programmes as required
- Engagement with the relevant stakeholders
- Coordinate meeting or workshops
- Coordinate review sessions
- Coordinate the evaluation of learning material for approval
- To compile information as evidence for reporting against targets
- To maintain and update evidence files
- To draft standardised, regular, and ad hoc reports as required
- Register Learnership for Occupational Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric / Grade 12 is required
- An NQF Level 6 qualification in Training and Development / Education Management / Monitoring and Evaluation / OD ETD / Business Management / Project Management / Learning Development Advisor / Analyst is required
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in development and realignment of Occupational Qualifications is required
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Learning and Development or Skills Development environment
- Must have a moderate understanding of the core function of the division
- Must have a sound understanding of Skills Development Act, Occupational Qualification Sub-Framework Policy
- Must be computer literate at an intermediate level
- Drivers License is required
