Job Purpose: The Manager: Logistics will be responsible for managing the overall ordering process, creation of orders and issuing them to the suppliers as well as the management of inventory. This role is also responsible for setting stock levels for the organisation and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. 
 
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Manage the logistics processes of the Corporation 
• Assist with the development of inventory management, ordering and stock management policies 
• Ensure the implementation of the inventory management, ordering and stock management processes and procedures 
• Develop and maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements 
• Coordinate overall logistics functions for product life cycles, including the receival, storage, distribution, delivery or final disposal 
• Ensure compliance with the stock / inventory ordering policy and process 
• Develop a database with a list of approved suppliers for consumables and inventory goods in consultation with Manager: Contracts and Bid Administration and Manager: Acquisition 
• Manage the receiving, storage, packaging and distribution of goods to end users
• Ensure that all problems concerning logistics systems, service providers or suppliers are resolved 
• Ensure that suppliers transport and deliver goods to the RTMC within set contract and SLA requirements 
• Develop and ensure the implementation of models for use in the evaluation of logistics programs, goods and services 
• Analyse the financial impact of changes in orders and product volumes, and inform the General Manager: Supply Chain Management of these changes 
• Review and conduct environmental audits for logistics activities, such as storage and distribution 
• Ensure compliance with the stock ordering system, process and procedure 
• Identify effective and optimal stock levels (minimum and maximum), delivery times and costs relating to the logistics processes 
• Maintain and build relationships with all stakeholders and service providers to ensure service level requirements are met. 
• Perform relevant people management functions within the allocated sections 
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 
• Matric (NQF Level 4) as essential 
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Procurement or equivalent (NQF Level 7) 
• Public Procurement Qualification or Finance (Advantage) 
• Seven (7) years Logistics Management experience of which a minimum of One (1) year should be at Supervisory level.

Job Purpose: The Demand Specialist will be responsible for forecasting and demand management activities with customers, and products. The incumbent captures historical trends, manages exceptions, and maintains forecast models, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from different Divisions, Units, Sections and other sources. 
 
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Monitor demand forecast risks, develop and implement effective mitigation plans Requirements elicitation, Analysis and Design 
• Gather, analyse and validate data regarding requirements from the different Divisions 
• Apply error analysis techniques to improve forecasting 
• Monitor and implement demand plan based on business trends and demand patterns.
• Analyse and troubleshoot demand related issues in a timely and accurate manner and report and or / propose solutions 
• Implement demand deliverables in accordance with annual budgets 
• Schedule forecast review meetings with management on regular basis.

Job Purpose: The General Manager: Management Accounting is responsible for developing, reviewing, and implementing financial management systems and procedures, overseeing the analysis of financial and performance information and provide advice and practical support regarding all aspects related to financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. This position is also responsible for providing management with reports to assist in decision making and to support the implementation of benchmarking and improvement initiatives. 
 
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Manage the Management Accounting Unit for RTMC; Develop. 
• maintain and build relationships with current and potential stakeholders to ensure service level requirements are met and to protect RTMC’s interest in the relationship. 
• Oversee the Budgeting and Planning process; Oversee the budget monitoring process. 
• Manage and assist with the delivery of projects and continuous improvement activities. 
• Manage compliance with the annual budget. 
• Perform general people management functions and effective capacity management to ensure smooth running of departments. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Accounting Science at NQF level 7 or equivalent is essential 
• A relevant post-graduate degree that leads to professional registration is advantageous, 
• SAICA Registered Chartered Accountant is advantageous. 
• Eight (8) post articles experience in accounting and quality assurance related role of which four (4) years at a management level.

Job Purpose: The Executive Manager: Road Traffic Training Academy will be responsible for ensuring that all Traffic Law Enforcement and Road Safety Officers in the country and for international clients are trained appropriately as set out in the RTMC Act and as indicated by international clients. The training will be delivered according to developed qualification and curriculum standards. The aim of the role is to ensure that training and assessment material is developed based on the qualification and curriculum requirements and ensuring that these qualifications are delivered appropriately. 
 
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Manage and deliver a strategic direction in the Road Traffic and Training Academy Division and ensure that it delivers uniformly in terms of the performance expectations for each client. 
• Build and maintain relevant stakeholder relationships. 
• Direct and oversee the development and maintenance of standardised training policies and frameworks for Traffic Law Enforcement and Road Safety fraternity including international clients. 
• Ensure that all training is aligned to SAQA, NRTA and any other relevant legislative requirements. 
• Ensure that training is delivered to learners at different Colleges.
• Develop Divisional budget and manage compliance with the annual budget. 
• Manage all legal compliance aspects in the Road Traffic Training Academy Division / Fraternity. 
• Perform relevant people management functions within the Division. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 
• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification at NQF level 7 or equivalent is essential 
• A relevant post-graduate degree is advantageous,

Job Purpose : The Team Leader: Software Development is responsible for coordinating the development of software and applications within the software development cycle
 
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• To supervise the Software Development Team within the Software Development Department ensuring that the teams deliver in terms of set performance expectations.
• Assist the Manager: Software Development with the development of software development processes and procedures aligned to the policy and the software development life cycle. 
• Identify and work with the project scope and task requirements. 
• In conjunction with the Software Project Scheduling team members assign project tasks to Team Members based on the identification of task sizing. 
• Liaise with Analyst and Design members to clarify task requirements or to provide feedback.

Job Purpose : The Team Leader: Network Security Engineer is responsible for leading and assisting the team that does daily monitoring, device administration, management, security event correlation, audit log management, access control, support, incident response, and call management of the Network. 
 
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• To supervise the Network Security Engineering Team within the Strategic Infrastructure section ensuring that the teams deliver in terms of set performance expectations 
• Manage and assist the team integrating, maintaining, and installing networks in a secure manner 
• Assist the Manager in establishing the networking environment and ensure compliance with this environment 
• Design the system configuration, system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards 
• Direct and assist the design and implementation of the Network and Security Architecture 
• Identify new technologies to improve the resilience of the current environment and make recommendations to the Manager: Strategic Infrastructure and to the General Manager 
• Coordinate and assist the team by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, 
• Schedule upgrades on network optimisation
• Undertake and lead data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments 
• Manage and secure the network system by implementing and enforcing policies 
• Perform and analyse network vulnerability scan results produced by leading vulnerability management system and take corrective actions 
• Monitor Routers and Switches for security related events 
• Detect and troubleshoot common network devices, network vulnerabilities and network attack patterns 
• Define access standards and monitor access and compile a report on any security breaches 
• Submit the report to the Manager: Strategic Infrastructure and the General Manager 
• Oversee, configure, support and administer firewalls, Virtual Private Networks and Security appliances in line with IT security policy 
• To maintain and build relationships with all stakeholders and service providers to ensure service level requirements are met 
• Lead the team and provide network technical support 
• To perform relevant people management functions within the section 
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 
• Matric (NQF Level 4) as essential 
• BTech (NQF Level 7) or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Equivalent (NQF Level 7) as essential 
• Certified in Cisco or Aruba as essential 
• Honours Degree (NQF Level 8) and or post graduate diploma (NQF Level 8) as added advantage 
• Six (6) to eight (8) years experience in network engineering 
• Knowledge of UNIX/LINUX server platforms as it pertains to the security of the OS 
• Knowledge of appliance-based web filtering proxys 
• Knowledge of analysing system logs from multi-vendor logged events
• Knowledge of security and monitoring tools and firewalls. 
• Knowledge of IT core infrastructure and cyber security components/devices preferred 
• Knowledge of IT systems, networks, hardware and software

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• To develop software and applications.

• Receive new issues assigned by Team Leader: Software Development through a defect, new specification or specification change. 
• Analyse assignments and plan implementation; and unit tests to verify code. 
• Check out existing code and implement new code or change to existing code; and submit for review to the Team Leader or another Specialist by checking code back. 
• Implement suggested changes as reviewed, and release code for build process. 
• Support existing functionality and develop new functionality and components.

• Ensure compliance with product software development processes and standards.
