Job Purpose: The Senior Facilities Server Administrator is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Operating System Server environment in the Road Traffic Management Corporation.The incumbent in this role is also responsible for fault findings exercises and ensuring the implementation of the IT business continuity plan.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
To implement and maintain the Operating System Server environment.
Assist the Manager: Operations and Business Systems with the development of server related processes and procedures.
Provide solutions and enterprise architecture improvements.
Identify solutions to improve productivity and create ease of use for company employees.
Identify relevant tools for use in the Corporation, e.g. resetting of passwords
Research new and current technologies.
Implement, configure, support and administer Active Directory (including DNS, DHCP etc.)
Implement, configure, support, administer and enhance Microsoft Exchange.
Implement, support, administer and enhance company backups processes.
Test and restore backups.
Test and install windows patches on Operating System servers.
Coordinate and ensure compliance to Company group IT Active Directory policies.
Implement, configure, support, administer and enhance Company Anti-Virus tools.
Proactively monitor and keep track of server performance.
Run reports and ensure that servers are running optimally.
Deal with any inconsistencies and issues by notifying the Manager: Operations and Business Systems.
Schedule and implement the approved server upgrades.
Monitor the Operating System and external application licence usage and expiry dates.
Engage with service providers to determine best licensing model/s.
Log and implement changes.
Compile relevant IT Service Management reports and submit to the Manager: Operations and Business Systems
To assist with the delivery of projects and provide technical support
To maintain and build relationships with all stakeholders and service providers to ensure service level requirements are met
To deliver, monitor and improve customer service
To continuously develop own personal expertise to drive personal growth
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Matric (NQF Level 4) as essential
National Diploma in Information Technology or Server Engineering (NQF Level 6) as essential.
Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) as an added advantage.
Four (4) to six (6) years’ experience in Microsoft server Support Applications.
Microsoft Certification for Cloud environments

Job Purpose: The Senior Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for supporting integrating and maintaining Unix, including Linux on enterprise server hardware and SAN storage management. The incumbent is also involved with relevant virtualisation software and hardware management.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
To engineer, install, integrate and maintain enterprise hardware and software
Install Unix/Linux or other enterprise level operating systems including Virtual Operating Systems.
Conceptualise architectural solutions for databases, user interfaces, and web services.
Ensure that hardware /software installations and upgrades are properly performed in accordance with company policy by the team or himself.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Matric (NQF Level 4) as essential.
National Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent (NQF level 6) as essential.

Four (4) to six (6) years’ experience in Software Development in a Java environment essential.
Knowledge of software development life cycle.
Knowledge if integration technologies (e.g., JMS, SOAP-*, Rest)
Knowledge of build frameworks (e.g Maven, Ant).
Knowledge of CI tools and participating in Continuous Integration (e.g Jenkins, Bamboo).
Knowledge of OOAD.
Understanding of Design Patterns and Domain Driven Designs.

Job Purpose: The Team Leader: Analysis and Design is responsible for the translation of customers business requirements into operational and information technology solutions.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
To supervise the Analysis and Design Team within the Analysis and design Department ensuring that the teams deliver in terms of set performance expectations.
To analyse processes and requirements and develop solutions.
Assist the Manager: Analysis and Design with the analysis of information from Governance structure meetings and stakeholder meetings.
Attend to stakeholder requests and needs for the development of systems and determine business requirements.
Develop and ensure the development of a business case / proposal to deal with the requirements
Ensure that the business case / proposal is tabled at the Governance structure meeting for approval.
Ensure that business cases are tabled at the change control committee regarding the prioritisation of the system development.
Make recommendations regarding software development technologies and tools that is required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Matric (NQF Level 4) as essential
B Tech (NQF Level 7) or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Informatics or equivalent (NQF Level 7) or NQF Level 6 with more than 8 years of experience as a Senior Business or System Analyst as essential

Certified as a Business Analyst as added advantage

Job Purpose : The Team Leader: Software Development is responsible for coordinating the development of software and applications within the software development cycle
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
To supervise the Software Development Team within the Software Development Department ensuring that the teams deliver in terms of set performance expectations.
Assist the Manager: Software Development with the development of software development processes and procedures aligned to the policy and the software development life cycle.
Identify and work with the project scope and task requirements.
In conjunction with the Software Project Scheduling team members assign project tasks to Team Members based on the identification of task sizing.
Liaise with Analyst and Design members to clarify task requirements or to provide feedback.
Liaise with infrastructure to prepare production software release.
Liaise with Quality Assurance teams regarding bugs and issues.
Before software is released to Quality Assurance ensure the integrity and integration of the system.
Writing clean code to develop functional web applications.
Ensure that written code is developed according to standards.
Ensure that team members adhere to development schedule and deadlines.
Troubleshoot the development of software and ensure the debugging of applications.
Perform UI tests to optimize performance and ensure that UI tests are conducted.
Collaborate with and participate in discussions with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
