- Assist in ensuring the availability of stationery within the department
- Validate and verify information and documents submitted for accurate capturing and further handling
- Check for duplicate documents, requests and queries and report on them
- Administer the records management and filling processes in line with the RAF filling plan

- Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve claim related queries and provide feedback
- Follow up on outstanding payment documents
- Ensure all claims payments records are properly filed
- Administer payments
- Observe and assist with SCM duties such as S&T, maintaining of PR’s and POs for Accommodation, goods and services
- Follow up on invoices and outstanding invoices.
- Data capturing and checking of accuracy of documents
- Monthly reports and duties related to SCM and Finance
Qualifications and other Requirements

The Road Accident Fund’s mission is to provide appropriate cover to all road users within the borders of South Africa; to rehabilitate and compensate persons injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents in a timely and caring manner; and to actively promote safe use of our roads.
Purpose of the Internship: The Organization is committed to youth skills development by providing graduates with an opportunity to gain work experience. Applications are invited for the Payment Payroll Internship from unemployed graduates between the age of 18 and 23. The Internship program will run for a period of eighteen (18) months.

Work based exposure may include the following:
Perform Payroll Administration
- Handle payroll queries.
- Ensure that payslips on ESS are available and distributed as per employee's request Perform bank verification.
- Perform banking verification online and check all new accounts are valid before live payroll.
- Monitor payroll correspondence e.g. Medical aid, Pension.
Office Administration:
- Prepare and monitor Payroll's Department invoices and ensure that they are paid on time.
- Arrange meetings, workshops, and appointments for the Department.
- Take minutes and ensure distribution thereof.
- Act as a link between Payroll Manager, other Department, staff and external stakeholders.
- Handle travel and accommodation arrangement and make reservation for the Departmental.
- Compile and submit subsistence and travel claims for the Department.
- Coordinate the handling of Executive Summaries both developed for Manager's approval and dissemination for implementation.
- Perform monthly asset verification within cost centre.
Record Management
- File and ensure that payroll documents are stored safely.
- Handle the payroll register as well as the movement of incoming and outgoing files.
- Archive payslips monthly after the final payroll run.
- Perform quarterly file audit.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Grade 12/ NQF 4 level certificate
- Certified copy of Finance /B Degree or Equivalent.
