Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Senior Manager: Business Analysis, Enterprise Architecture & Process Management, the successful incumbent will be accountable to work with stakeholders to specify, design and select information system that deliver great value to the RAF.
Key Performance Areas
- Develop component Solution Architectures for RAF and expected RABS.
- Manage the organisational Application Portfolio.
- Manage Solution Architectures.
- Identify risks associated with Solution Architectures.
- Reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma @ NQF Level 7 in Information System or Computer Science.
- Post graduate Diploma/ Honours Degree/ Professional Qualification Degree @ NQF Level 8 will be advantageous.
- TOGAF certification.
- Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Certification.
- Relevant 6 – 8 years; experience as a Solution Architect in various ICT environments of which 2 years must have been on a supervisory level/ area of Expertise.
- Experience of developing Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).
- Strong integration experience.
- Experience in assessing a broad range of information solutions and products (i.e. document management, collaboration management and content management, etc.).

- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or equivalent.
- Knowledge of infrastructure including servers, storage, firewalls load balancers routers.
Remuneration
Total cost to company applicable to this position is minimum R911 075.00 per annum, negotiable.
NB: "RAF offers Total Employment Cost packages with no contributions from the Employer, successful candidates are required to structure their packages in manner that will suit their needs".
