ROAD ACCIDENT FUND (RAF)
The Road Accident Fund's mission is to provide appropriate cover to all road users within the borders of South Africa; to rehabilitate and compensate persons injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents in a timely and caring manner; and to actively promote the safe use of our roads.

Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the General Manager: ICT Operations, the successful candidate is accountable for establishing and defining Information Security principles and IT Governance structures across the ICT environment in line with the international, local governance frameworks legislation. In addition, the incumbent will ensure that the Information Security policies are executed and adhered to in carrying out ICT operations within the RAF.
Key Performance Areas
- Set the imperatives/ objectives for ICT security policies drafting.
- Identify current and potential legal and regulatory issues affecting information security and assess their impact on the organisation.
- Set strategy for sustained implementation of cyber strategy programmes.
- Execute ICT Security initiatives.
- Define Governance structures for each of the ICT departments.
- Develop ICT risk management framework, policies and procedures.
- Ensure system security within ICT business unit complies with audit and information security expectations.
- Human Resources management.
- Report and Finance management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Post Graduate Diploma/ Honours Degree/ Professional Qualification Degree @ NQF 8 related qualification to discipline.
- CISSP / CISA / CISM/ COBIT certification.
- PMP Certification will be advantageous.
- 8-10 years' experience in Information Security, ICT Risk, ICT Governance environment of which 3 years must have been on a management level in leading Information Security teams and ICT Risk management teams.

Remuneration
Total cost to company applicable to this position is minimum R1 160 042.00 per annum, negotiable.
NB: "RAF offers Total Employment Cost packages with no additional contributions from the Employer, successful candidates are required to structure their packages in manner that will suit their needs".
