The Road Accident Fund's mission is to provide appropriate cover to all road users within the borders of South Africa; to rehabilitate and compensate persons injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents in a timely and caring manner; and to actively promote safe use of our roads

Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Senior Manager: Business Analysis, the successful incumbent will be responsible for providing strategic business analysis services to the organisation. This includes working closely with different business units to gain in-depth understanding of business unit service offerings, business processes, strategy roadmaps and documenting solutions required to address business challenges.
 
Key Performance Areas
  • Identify business opportunities for improved organisational efficiencies.
  • Document and maintain business process documents.
  • Provide or render Mentoring, Compliance and Reporting. 
  • To prepare Business Case and Benefits Realization.
  • Project Delivery against service standards and best practices.
 
 
 
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma @ NQF Level 7 in Information Systems or related qualification to discipline.
  • Post Graduate Diploma/ Honours Degree/ Professional Qualification Degree @ NQF Level 8 will be advantageous.
  • A formal qualification/ certification in Business Analysis or Process Analysis will be advantageous.
  • Relevant 6 – 8 years' experience in Business Analysis or Process Analysis of which 2 years must have been on a supervisory level or area of expertise.
  • Substantial experience in delivering projects of various sizes and functional complexities.
  • Must have experience in handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.
  • Strong project management experience to be able to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point.
  • Illustrated experience in leading a team on projects.
  • Illustrated experience in analysis of strategy implementation.
  • Experience in Insurance or Financial Services Industry will be an advantage.
  • Experience in Business Architecture will be an added advantage.

  • Ability to work with technical and Architecture teams in delivering business solutions.
  • Ability to lead User Acceptance Testing initiatives.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Ability to mentor on Business Analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.



Remuneration 
Total cost to company applicable to this position is minimum R911 075.00 per annum, negotiable.

NB: "RAF offers Total Employment Cost packages with no contributions from the Employer, successful candidates are required to structure their packages in manner that will suit their needs".
