THE ROAD ACCIDENT FUND'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE APPROPRIATE COVER TO ALL ROAD USERS WITHIN THE BORDERS OF SOUTH AFRICA; TO REHABILITATE AND COMPENSATE PERSONS INJURED AS A RESULT OF MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENTS IN A TIMELY AND CARING MANNER; AND TO ACTIVELY PROMOTE THE SAFE USE OF OUR ROADS.

Purpose of the Job: The officer is responsible to ensure that all new claims lodged are registered within prescribed time periods.
Key Performance Areas
- Registration of new claims (direct and supplier)
- Stamping of files
- Checking for duplicating claims
- Confirming information on supplier claims submitted; check claims submitted against the spreadsheet captured by DoH
- Capturing details on the registration system
- Updating registers of claims registers and reporting
- Opening files covers
Qualifications and Experience
- NQF 6 (Diploma or Advance Certificate) related qualification.
- Relevant 2 years minimum experience in a Claims environment.

- Knowledge of MVA processes and procedures
- Good understanding and practical knowledge of RAF policies ,procedure and practices

- Telephone etiquette
Remuneration
A total cost to company of minimum remuneration package applicable to this position is R270 525.00 per annum and will be negotiable commensurate with experience.
