Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Senior Manager: Business Analysis, Enterprise Architect and Process, the successful candidate will be accountable to work with stakeholders to design and implement an existing and target state business architecture that provides value to the Road Accident Fund.

Key Performance Areas
Establish Business Architecture Capability (CoE)
  • Align the business architecture methodology to the maturity.

Develop Business Outcome Value Streams (for each Business Unit)
  • Liaise with key stakeholders in each of the business units to assess and understand critical processes and value chains that drive the business unit strategy as well as the RAF overall strategy.

Update TOM with Requisite Granular Component Details
  • Liaise with key stakeholders in each of the business unite to assess and understand critical processes and value chains that drive the business unit strategy as well as the RAF overall strategy.

Update Business Capability Model to a Granular Level
  • Liaise with key stakeholders in each of the business units to assess and understand critical processes and value chains that drive the business unit strategy as well as the RAF overall strategy.

 
Deliver end to end Business Architecture Blueprint
  • Organize structure.
  • Value chain models.
  • Process streams and models.
  • Business domain mappings.
  • Capability models.
  • Balance scorecards.
  • Dashboards.
  • Supply chain models.
 
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma @ NQF Level 7 in Information System related qualification to discipline.
  • Post graduate Diploma/ Honours Degree/ Professional Qualification Degree @ NQF Level 8 will be advantageous.
  • TOGAF.
  • Strategy Certificate.
  • Business Architecture Certification.
  • Relevant 6 – 8 years' experience in a Business Architecture related experience of which 2 years must have been on management/ supervisory level/ area of expertise.

  • The ability to visualize and create high level models that can be used in the future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture.
  • Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.
  • Experience modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the business, applies equal conveyance regarding business initiatives, and benefits realization and service delivery.
  • The ability to act as the liaison conveying information needs of the business to IT and data constraints to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.
  • Strong situational analysis and decision making abilities.
  • Strategy and business architecture certification will be preferred but not compulsory.

Remuneration
Total cost to company applicable to this position is minimum R911 075.00 per annum, negotiable.

NB: "RAF offers Total Employment Cost packages with no additional contributions from the Employer, successful candidates are required to structure their packages in a manner that will suit their needs"
