Role Overview:
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Investigator will be required conduct to complex investigations in state affairs. Serve as subject matter experts, ensure investigative activities meet legal, regulatory, and organizational standards. Conduct Forensic investigations.
Requirements
• A degree or equivalent qualification in any of the following fields: Law i.e. LLB or B Proc/Auditing/ Accounting/ Forensic Investigations/ Criminology/Policing
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in senior management
• A minimum of 5 years in conducting investigations including forensic investigations
• Good report writing skills
• Good understanding of legislative prescripts that give mandate to Public Protector SA
• Good understanding and experience in the application of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in the South African Public Services Administration
• Proven experience in the application of Case Management System (CMS) or other case management related system
• Experience in financial management system (forensic audit)
• A valid driver’s license
• Fluency in English and other official language relevant to the Province/Region.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Investigations
Conduct investigations on complaints relating to: Maladministration in state organs and parastatals, Abuse or unjustifiable exercise of power or other improper conduct or undue delay by persons performing a public function, and any act or omission by persons in the employ of government which may result in improper prejudice to any person
Forensic Investigations
• Conduct forensic Investigations on matters referred to the Public Protector South Africa.
• Conduct financial Audits, forensic Analysis and data Analysis
Systemic Investigations
Participate and conduct investigations on systemic administrative deficiencies or interventions relating to service delivery and incidents of maladministration and corruption
Produce investigations Reports
• Write detailed investigative reports summarizing findings.
• Maintain accurate logs and records for each step of the investigation.
Adherence to Legal and Ethical Standards
• Ensure all procedures comply with legal protocols.
• Maintain objectivity, confidentiality, and professional ethics throughout the investigation.

Role Overview
The Senior Manager: Complaints and Stakeholder Management (CSM) reports to the Executive Manager: Complaints and Stakeholder Management. The role of the post is to manage and facilitate effective complaints and stakeholder management within the institution. The Senior Manager will play a vital role in managing complaints within the institution, ensuring that customer concerns are appropriately addressed, and customer satisfaction is maintained. Developing effective complaints management systems and reporting. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing effective complaints handling policies and procedures. Strategically build relationships and partnerships with stakeholders and grow institution’s portfolio.
Requirements:
A SAQA recognised bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration or equivalent. A relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
• Eight years’ relevant experience in a legal environment, Customer Relations, Complaints handling, public awareness and community outreach work, of which five years should have been at Middle Management level
• Knowledge and experience in stakeholder management, investigations and
Communication.
• Understanding of legal prescripts dealing with complaints resolution processes
• Call Centre management
• Proven track record in data management.
• Proficiency in at least three official South African languages will be an advantage
• Good understanding of Cooperative Governance Frameworks

Responsibilities
Complaints Management
Develop/review strategies, policies and programmes for implementation and management of case or complaint intake, preliminary assessment and customer service • Develop business intelligence reports on reported complaints • Manage Intake, Assessments and Customer Service • Manage Reception, Registry and Call Centre • Ensure the development and implementation of effective Customer Service Management processes • Manage the implementation of the Integrated Access and Stakeholder Management Strategy and Implementation Plan • Develop, manage and maintain effective case management workflow • Oversee and provide support, guidance and coaching to complaints handling team and team leaders • Oversee the delivery of case management services to complainants at each location and ensuring compliance with all aspects of case management processes in accordance with Public Protector South Africa Policies and Procedures. Requirements
